Week Three
[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.
This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.
Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

SUNDAY

"A dream is not something you have, but something you assert. There is only one star shining at the top."
Maya wakes with a start in the Broadhurst dorm. She can almost taste her heartbeat in her throat. The dream itself isn’t particularly unnerving on its own, she had succeeded in her first challenge after all, and against the only person that had ever posed a challenge to Maya.]
Claudine.
[That, of course, was the problem. She recognized the longsword, particularly the orange jewel glittering in its pommel. She’d seen it in a photo here since arriving, after all.
Regardless of what is said within her dorm, Maya eventually makes her way through the school. Her intentions are the same as always -- practice in the dance studio. But the new wing of the school draws her attention instead.
She finds herself in the library, wandering through the shelves of books. Many of them are unfamiliar, but… She finds a few nonfiction titles that draw her interest. She settles at a small table eventually, books about giraffes, about sword fighting, and even books about anatomy laid out in front of her.
Eventually, she makes her way to the nurse’s office. Really, she’s just shuffling through the shelves and taking stock. She snatches a role of ACE bandages for later, just in case. She also finds a roll of athletic tape and takes that with her as well.
With that, it’s back to her routine. She heads to the dance studio as usual. This time, her sword hand seems to be wrapped. Less callouses, please!]
Gee Varian how come you get TWO Maya threads | Library
Before he can get distracted looking up things for his own purposes, he happens to notice Maya sitting at one of the tables. He approaches (sans Ruddiger since he wanted to nap), taking a seat at the table just as he catches what it is she's looking at.]

So, she decides to try the dance studio. Maybe that can work for some more...relaxed exercises. Peregrine, generally, seems to be more that. More relaxed.

That fucking bitch! That completely psychopathic walking college admissions essay of a BITCH! [At least these screams sound angry, now, instead of pained-- but maybe someone should calm her down before she wrecks the place.]
[After all of... that, Farrah's still a little hungover. It's like Hester left the Nurse's Office there just for her. She can be found either pouring herself out painkillers to take with the water, or just weakly groaning while she lays on one of the beds behind the curtain]
Choir Room
Salieri lays there for a moment, staring at the ceiling, a little dazed--before he shakes his head, pulling himself together enough to climb to his feet, stumbling for the door. He steps outside the door frame just in time to see Farrah run into the choir room from the hall, screaming. Salieri moves, immediately going to go after her, any newly acquired memories of his own temporarily pushed to the back of his mind as worry for her welfare replaces it.
He gets to the choir room just as her screams transition from fear into anger.]

Are you okay?
choir room
Her head hurts, and the room spins. But she's awake, and Farrah's gone, so that left Cassandra with the options that she all too quickly ignored. She shakes her head, pulls herself together enough to clamber out of bed, and hurries out the door after her. With all the screaming, following her is simple enough, and she enters the choir room just as the rant is reaching it's crescendo. This time, it's not fear, but anger.
Maybe that was worse.]
Hey! [Cassandra calls, her voice a sharp tone to cut through this explosive outburst. She might also be just a little annoyed about the rude awakening.] I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say that you didn't sleep well either.

minor blood injury inside HES FINE HES JUST STUPID
"Oh I know we can't. Which is why we have to steal it."
Varian wakes with a start, his heart hammering in his chest so hard that he can't breathe when he first wakes up. It doesn't matter if anyone else is awake or not, but at least Varian woke silently. That was...Rapunzel, wasn't it? She had been apologizing to Varian, profusely, about how he'd only come to her for help but...
What was she talking about?
"You did what you had to, but you can help me now."
He doesn't know why that instills such dread in him, and it's even worse not understanding why he would have...
He can't stay in the dorm. He leaves as soon as he's collected himself with Ruddiger at his side, though he's more...wandering aimless than actually walking with purpose. It means that he finds the new school wing largely on accident, the now-opened area an immediate curiosity. He knew there was more.
There are a lot of places Varian can and will visit this week, but all of Sunday's attention is commanded by the newly revealed Auto Shop. He's never seen a garage this big, much less the machines kept inside. He never was given a proper explanation of a car, but that doesn't matter; hopefully nobody objects to Varian immediately setting to tinkering with it, because thats what he's going to do. He doesn't want to think about that dream....that memory right now. He doesn't want to think about anything. He just wants to figure out how this car works.
Maybe with enough self-teaching, he can figure out how to get it running. For now, it's a lot of trying to understand it's mechanics.
But that also means, well...Varian at some point during the day is going to be in a something of a hurry to get to the Nurse's Office. HE'S FINE HE'S JUST BLEEDING A LITTLE, JUST A LITTLE, and he's trying to get in there quick because he doesn't want to alarm anybody. For the most part, it looks like the skin between his thumb and index finger on his left hand got caught in something up underneath that car because you know, the best way to learn about a thing is to take off your gloves and just jam your extremeties up into its guts to see what's in there, right?
He might not have thought this through, does anyone have a bandaid.]

Investigation? (sorta)
... Huh! I had the weirdest dream last night where I saw Mumble's dead body and we all had to kill Sissi because she accidentally assisted in his death.
[Pause.]
And then I had a dream that Hester's motive was right and that my town was gonna get destroyed by a volcano. Weird, huh?
[Who's gonna tell him.
After his inevitable screaming session, he decides that he should still actually, you know, face the day. He had intention to make everyone breakfast like normal. But then he sees that the West Hall is now open.
... Well... no one will miss him if he's only a few seconds late, right? Especially when he's doing some investigation.
Unfortunately for everyone, he is a lot more than a few seconds late, as the moment he finds the Library he instantly falls in love with the place. After going to the Lounge for some snacks and tea he finds a cozy spot to read a stack of books he's found in the library, mostly fiction and comic books.
He does eventually notice the videos and decides to root through them all, playing just about anything interesting he finds. Regardless of what he does find, he's gonna settle down into a nice Magic School Bus marathon. So feel free to join him and learn about science!]

cw: mild disassociation
--Salieri sucks in another breath and sits up a little more quickly than warranted, swinging his legs over the side of the bed, breathing hard, bombarded by that music and, worse, by that man. The frivolous way he'd mocked both Rosenberg and himself, then played music that was so sublime--then had the gall, the gall to lean over and ask, coy, in a voice dripping with smugness:
Salieri's stomach twists, and he pushes to his feet, getting ready as quickly as possible and leaving the dorm, paper and pencils already tucked under his arm and in his jacket, going straight to the band room. There he sequesters himself at the piano, immediately starting to compose. He draws the lines of the staff, presses the keys on the piano, starts to put together a melodic line. But it...is not quite right. Not quite there...
He tosses the paper aside. Then he tries again. And again. And again. Eventually, the floor of the room becomes littered with paper, half formed ideas, crossed out and rewritten time and time again.
Salieri is eventually broken out of his fervor by Farrah, leaving the mess behind as his focus is immediately shifted.
After that, however, he's eventually returning to the Band room, staring at the scattering of papers and just...slowly starting to gather them up. Now that he doesn't have Farrah to focus on, he starts to feel almost a bit outside of himself, detached from what he's doing, but he presses on, continuing to keep cleaning.
Once the papers are regathered he sets about getting more paper, and instead of composing, writing up some posters. He can, afterwards, be found hanging up those posters with some tacks for everyone to see, proclaiming:]
Meeting to be held Monday, 7 o'clock in the evening, Cafeteria.
Signed, A. Salieri
[once those are successfully hung up, he'll head back to the choir room, armed with more paper, and, not bothering to re-set up the chairs as he sits down at the piano there to compose. However...it's a bit slower than normal. He still doesn't feel quite himself, like his hands aren't quite his hands, and therefore can't quite put the notes down correctly, or it sounds just a bit off. He erases notes and tries again. Keeps trying.
He'll be in there for a while.]

"Your concert was amazing!"
"I want to tell you everything I felt about it! Could we have lunch together today?"
A concert and... her classmates? Was she finally making friends with them? And the thing she put in front of her face--
"Yeah, I would love that!"
When Rina awakens she doesn't think of the dream as anything odd. She doesn't even consider it could be a memory just yet. But she is feeling... happy? And inspired by it? Despite the weekend's events, this little dream makes her feel warm.
She goes to have breakfast but this time she takes a bunch of paper from her room and some pens with her. As she eats in the cafeteria she's busy drawing several faces, each one taking up an entire piece of paper of their own. She's pretty focused on it!
Later on in the day she realizes the west hall is open and goes exploring... and very quickly finds the computer lab.
...
Yeah she's in here for the rest of the day. And probably all week. She might have to be dragged away come bed time because she'll sleep in here if you let her. Even if they're older than she is it's still a comfort to have access to a computer again. ]

cw: suicidal ideation
Let future historians wonder how Connor reacted when he broke your heart
I have torn it all apart, I'm watching it
Burn
There's no drama to the way Connor reacts when he wakes up except for the fact that he seems to be doing things on autopilot. That is, until he gets to the vending machine and the Death Note pops out. He stares down at it in his hands for a moment before flipping it open and writing his own name on the first page over and over and over—]
Fuck! [He tosses the notebook across the room and sinks to the floor.] Fuck.
[Eventually, you might find him in the door to the scene studio. He doesn't appear to want to go in? But he's been just. Standing in the doorway for a while? It's probably fine. Eventually, he can be found in the computer lab working on some art.
Hey everybody, it's your favorite OC Jigsaw Enoshima!Actually, he's drawing someone who none of you recognize. Don't worry about it! Also don't worry about the fact that eventually he ends up under the computer desk, crying.Connor's fine. Everything's fine.]

Because if I don't, I'll lose the one friend I ever had?"
Once Discord wakes up in the Ambassador dorm, he spends some time staring at the ceiling, before eventually just taking his pillow, putting it over his face, and groaning. Loudly. Because oh. Right. That.
For a time, he's just sort of leaning against a wall in the lounge, after he goes to explore the west hall. He's not really... doing much, though, for that time. He's just? Making tea? Maya isn't even forcing him this time, he's just doing it on his own. Weird.
Later in the day, though, he snaps out of it to an extent. Rather, he's forcing himself a little. It's fine. We're all fine. The important thing is, you can find him by the library. Not inside, just outside. Looks like he's gone back to wall art for a bit? Except this is less random and bored than his previous work, he's uh...

"I'm fulfilling my destiny!"
Cassandra wakes up with a start in Longacre dorm, feeling as though she's drowning, scrambling for air. For a good minute or two, she sits up on her bed, running her hands back through her hair, and thinking. Nearing the end, she seems downright frantic, tugging on stray strands of raven black.
But she can't stay like that forever. Once she's taken the time to regain her senses, Cassandra ventures out to do her usual routine; preparing breakfast in the kitchen -- or trying to. It has to be something light and easy. Something she doesn't have to go into the walk-in freezer to grab. And she's wracking her brain for options.
...Was that wing of the school always there? Her intentions were to head on her way for a bit of training in the gym, but now... Well, she could afford an investigation.
The library is what first draws her interest. Rows upon rows of books, not quite up to the standard of Corona's royal library, but it was easily an interesting find. Cassandra even finds a number of books for herself, stacked neatly on the floor next to where she stood, propped up against the shelves; some nonfiction, a couple young adult fictions, and even a book about medieval weaponry?
After that, somehow, Cassandra winds her way into the autoshop, where she stands like a sore thumb against the hard concrete, tools, and... whatever that thing is. A metal carriage? Wheels, doors - it fits the general shape of a caravan, but Cassandra's aware enough to know when she's completely out of her depth. So, she decides to leave it alone and focus on other things.
Such as that door over there. Where she'll spend a good minute or two attempting to fit her hands under the garage door and strain to lift it. Try as hard as she might, it isn't budging.]
