Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

Claudine Saijo. [She traces her fingers over the pigtails -- entirely unlike her -- before pushing the photo back.]

She is a classmate of mine. A talented woman, second only to myself.

And this is her? [He points at the duel-wielding pink woman wearing the jacket.]

[mayavericks]

I don't know.

[She glances up at Angus.]

It is her sword. The uniform is... similar, at least. But she certainly isn't... pink like this. And she has never used a weapon like that.

[She taps the scythe!]

[mcfife]

[One answer is that she is secretly a shapeshifting wizard, but that seems highly unlikely for a young actress.]

What if...the assassin stole her weapon in an effort to kill me?

[mayavericks]

And her outfit? [She shakes her head.] I could believe it if it were me in that photo. But why would they attempt to take on the resemblance of someone you could never have known? There is no... narrative sense to it.

[mcfife]

What if I were to meet her in the future? Once we leave, I expect that we will visit each other across dimensions. [And then, and then...there's got to be more.] I may not know her well enough to tell that someone is disguised as Claudine Saijo the actress.

[mayavericks]

I... can only hope that you are right.

I do not want to imagine this fate for her.

[mcfife]

Then I swear that she and I will speak more often. We will devise a way to recognize one another and never fall for the alien's trap!

[mayavericks]

[She's quiet for a long moment.]
