Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

[Salieri goes still at that--relying on you for support--straightening slowly. When he does speak, there’s an edge of bite to it]

How surprising, that the Lord of Chaos would be so invested in keeping order.

[There's maybe half a second where he feels irritated about that response, but he keeps smiling the whole time.]

Ohhh, it was very bad, was it, hm?

[somehow, if possible, he stiffens even more]

It was--it was not. [that was maybe a bit of a growl--and Salieri clears his throat, trying to grasp for that control again] Not that I particularly feel like sharing with you of all people.

[Oh, he's all mad at him. That's adorable.]

Well, you're really selling me on how not bad it was. But maybe next time try it without the growling? I think it might help.

[And he smirks, walking closer, hands clasped behind his back.]

Why would you need to, when you're so convincingly fine already?

[Damn. Damn, damn, damn--he lost that hold on his temper again, why does this man always manage to make him do that--?

Salieri grits his teeth, glancing aside, paper crinkling in his grasp as his fingers clench]

I am fine, I--[he breaks off, rigidly still]--as if you could understand, you're just like him--

[Now we're getting somewhere. And Discord just closes in more, like a cat pouncing on the movement of its prey.]

Oh? Him, who?

[violentenvies]

[Oh hell--]

No one. [snapped again, and he needs to get out of here, he needs to stop talking about this right now, he needs to get away from Discord because he's getting too close and Salieri's hold on his control is so fragile--and he turns to try and make for the door]

[disharmonizes]

[Ever so smoothly, Discord twists around Salieri, stopping in front of him. Shutting the door and leaning casually against it.]

No, no, if I'm being compared to someone, I think I deserve to know.

[violentenvies]

[Salieri stops short as Discord steps in front of him, blocking his only exit. He takes a step back, mouth twisting into a scowl.]

I don't particularly agree with that, Monsieur Discord, now move. [it's a growl again. He knows Discord won't move; he knows, but still, he has to stall, to avoid saying that name.]

[disharmonizes]

Move or what?

[Make him.]

[Or what indeed. Part of him has the urge to strike him, but it's a base urge and not one even he himself can really see him doing

So what is he to do? He's essentially trapped.

Salieri sucks in a breath, closing his eyes, before blowing out harshly through his nose, glaring at Discord with everything he can muster]

....if I tell you his name, will you move?

One way to find out.

[oh there is an urge to throw something at Discord's head. But he has nothing, and also it would be uncouth, so he does not.]

[he practically spits the name out]

There. Now let me pass.

[disharmonizes]

[...Well. Good enough for now.

He'll just casually step to the side, gesturing at the door.]

[yeah no he is 10000% not going to thank him for that, and he is heading straight out that door]

[disharmonizes]

[And Discord will just kick it closed after him the second he's out.
