Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

[A pause, then, very quietly:]

[He looks over at Peregrine for approval.]

[ That wince intensifies.

But she gives him a thumbs up. ]

Sorry, to uh...be the barer of bad news.

I-It's ok, I probably would have found out sooner or later anyway.

[He pauses.]

I just... I still can't believe that all happened earlier.

[ Thinking about Mumble's frozen body, Sissi's disturbing execution...

Peregrine sits up in bed. It's too early for this, but. ]

It's not gonna happen again. Okay? We all know better now. We're gonna make sure it doesn't.

R-right! And that death wasn't even a real murder! The whole situation last week wasn't even a murder, it was just an accident! And since we know that we have to kill everyone to get away with it I'm sure no one will do it.

[He sounds almost like he's trying to convince himself.]

[ The more he goes on, the more of a bad feeling Peregrine has. Can't trust—

But...but things...apparently turned out better than she thought. She starts frowning, turning over the dream in her mind, over and over again. ]

...Yeah... [ She's distracted. ] Yeah, what you said.

[He seems to notice her hesitation.]

I know it's scary, but there's a lotta good people here too! And I'm sure if anyone tries to do anything, we'll be there to stop it!

What? Oh, yeah, it's— [ ... ] I'm sorry, did you say something about...another dream, too?

Yeah! About Hester being right and that Bikini Bottom was gonna get destroyed by a volcano.

[He pauses nervously.]

W... was that something that really happened too, or...?

[ She doesn’t want to smile; hers was good, but it sounds like— ]

It…felt real. Didn’t it? [ She can feel the adrenaline from standing before the bear. She can feel the breeze from its roar. ]

[He frowns, worried.]

I guess it did, but I thought it might have just been a really intense dream.

... Why?

I just... I had one too. A really...really realistic dream. One that explains a few things.
