[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

[His eyes suddenly widen in horror.]

Oh dear Neptune I didn't even finish breakfast!

[He looks at the door, as if rushing to prepare breakfast this morning would somehow make up for the lack of breakfast on Friday.]

[ That's about what he thought. Orpheus shakes his head and frowns at him, almost scoldingly. ]

No. You went through something terrible, Spongebob. We all did but it's not - you don't have to apologize for needing help, after something like that, or for not getting everything done that you usually do. And you don't have to act like you're okay right away, either.

[ He follows Spongebob's gaze to the door, then looks back at him. ]

Do you think cooking would make you feel better? Or do you just want to do it because you think you owe it to us? You don't have to do it today, if it's the second one. I'm sure we can all manage, if you want to take a break.

[ Realistically speaking most of them can manage, probably. ]

[That stops him from just bolting out the door, but he's still fidgeting.]

I know, but we all went through something horrible and yet you still helped me! And I barely did anything in return!

[Oh. That question does give him pause.]

[He seems a little guilty for not picking.]

I can't speak for Eurydice, but the reason I was able to help was, um. I've... seen this kind of thing happen before. Not quite like that, but, losing people before their time. And I handled it much worse than you did.

[ He breathes out, slowly, and looks off to the side, staring at the wall for a moment before looking back at Spongebob and smiling weakly. ]

But I had people with me who had been through it before, and they walked me through it just like I did for you. I was just passing on what they showed me, that's all. You don't need to thank me for it, except by trying to keep going. Okay? And both is an answer. Do you want me to go to the kitchen with you? I can try to help.

Yeah, seeing someone die is... really, really not fun. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

[But that offer... Spongebob looks at Orpheus with a sudden look of vibrance on his face.]

I would actually love to have you help me make breakfast! I think it's a lot more fun to make food when you're doing it with friends.

[It technically goes against my toplevel prompt but it's fine let the boys bond.]

[ Look, time isn't real and neither is continuity. ]

Great! [ He hops off the ladder to let Spongebob down. ] I'm not the best at cooking? But I know a little bit, and I can at least help with preparing things.

[Spongebob slides down the ladder.]

That's ok! Cooking is more about love than pure skill, if you ask me! Besides pancakes are really easy for beginners!

[He's just gonna take Orpheus' hand and lead him to the kitchen now.]

Almost everyone I've met who's really good at it says it's as much an art form as anything else. [ says Orpheus, following along after him. ]

And I do know how to make pancakes? But not as well as you do. It'll be fun to see how you do them differently!

[ the secret is probably not having to ration one's sugar but shhhhh ]

Well that's fine! I'm sure your pancakes are absolutely amazing too! Really the trick is all how you prepare the eggs. If you beat the whites it makes the pancakes turn out super fluffy!

[And also sugar.]

Oh! I'd never thought to do that, but that makes sense.

[ The walk to the kitchen is a pretty short one, and they make it there without much fuss. Orpheus looks around, remembering something as they walk in the door. ]

Oh, right! Do you mind if I take stock of the pantry while you get things ready? It should only take a little bit. Then I can help out.
