Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

If I'm not mistaken, even the idea of having friends was something rather abhorrent to you even just yesterday.

Now, we could talk about that, certainly. Or we could talk about whatever it is that has you all rattled.

As I've said, I'm hardly rattled. [calmly, just...letting himself mentally detach from this just a little more. He can just go through the motions. That should be enough.]

In fact, I would say you have the more drastic change of the two of us.

[dryly, folding his arms over his chest]

Oh, yes, of course.

[He walks away from Salieri a little, just going to lean against a wall, smirking a bit.]

Cool as a cucumber as always, yes, maestro?

[there's something in his expression that twitches, slightly, at that, but it smooths out almost instantly as he just pulls away even more mentally from this. He's here, sort of, but detached from himself--saying what needs to be said and doing what needs to be done here without needing to fully be there]

Of course, Monsieur Discord. [still, calm] As I've said: it was only once. It won't happen again.

[See, that's just... off. Too calm, too together. Not that Salieri's an open book all the time or anything, but this feels a little too... blank.]

So there's no problems here, then? None whatsoever?

Aside from a mess to clean here and the fact that we are all still trapped in a prison where we're encouraged to murder each other? [drawled]

Well, one of those is your own doing, but yes. Aside from that.

No problems with me calling you the same thing I have been since we first got here, then? None at all?

None whatsoever. [and he is going to go back to cleaning up those papers]

[disharmonizes]

[He'll just watch Salieri do that for a second. Before crumpling up some paper and throwing it at his head.]

[that makes him pause, briefly, and he just glances sidelong at Discord]

Simply trying to help tidy up, Maestro, that's all.

By throwing more paper on the floor. [deadeyed stare right about now]

Oh, the floor isn't a trashcan? Well, you had me fooled, it looks exactly like the bottom of one right now!

Yes, well, I'm endeavoring to rectify that, despite your attempts to keep it as such.

[disharmonizes]

[that'll get Discord a small, annoyed sigh from Salieri, but not much more as he bends down to pick up the ball of paper, transferring it to the waste paper basket near the piano]

[...He throws another one. Deliberately right next to the basket.]

So is this the creative process at work? Because I'm impressed.

[violentenvies]

[he just picks up the paper and places it in the basket, before straightening, eyes narrowing as he glances over at Discord]

Oh? [he has a bad feeling about that statement]

[disharmonizes]

Look at this mess, all nice and chaotic. Having some creative difficulties?

[violentenvies]

[his shoulders stiffen at that] I hardly see how that's your concern.

[disharmonizes]

I'm in this room as well. And like I said, we are all in this together, so...
