Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

I think so! There were a few pairs who knew each other to begin with and weren't exactly friends - but I'll make sure Hans can't get one over on anybody, and Javert's not gonna actually kill Valjean. Murder's illegal.

Right. Murder is illegal. Just like kidnapping is.

[She motions vaguely to their surroundings.]

Wait. Did you say Javert and Valjean?

Yep! Two different productions, but they still figured out who the other was pretty quick. They were doing fine about it, though - just avoiding each other, I think.

[Maya is not a sarcastic person but sometimes... Sometimes allowances can be made.]

It's good that you have been able to keep the peace, though.

Yeah! Yeah, it was alright. Even got to go to my first party - for the first time, I guess. [He had thought the afterparty for Salieri's show was his first one, so he's just done it twice now he guesses?] Hopefully it was all okay. We didn't...do anything like those photos.

[But then...that didn't happen the first week here, either.]

That's good. That... gives me hope.

[Sure, she's a little skeptical but... It's probably fine.]

I did. I remembered my first Revue. I won, naturally.

Oh, congratulations! Is that some kind of theatre competition?

[Janis mentioned those, apparently they're a thing!]

In a manner of speaking. They're duels against my classmates, it would seem. Whoever wins... [It's hard to explain. She shrugs.]

It's worth winning, that's all.

Duels? Like, with swords?

[Well. He's sure it's fine, knowing Maya and all!]

I bet swords play a lot better on the stage, though.

Swords are much more flashy, aren't they?

Yeah! I bet that's pretty cool to watch - all our songs about guns were...I mean, they were fun, but how much choreography can you really do with one?

Too many flourishes in a duel like that will only get you shot dead, I'm sure.

Oh, sure. Sara used to accidentally fire off her gun all over the place. We didn't spend much time onstage together, but...

[Yikes!]

[Maya makes a face]

And I suppose the guns were real, too?

Yeah. I mean, depending.
