Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

Regina was my best friend when we were kids. But then she got popular, and I didn't, so... she ditched me. By telling everyone at school I'm a lesbian. And I don't think she knew she was right, I think she just wanted something to make everyone hate me, but...

[ Janis sort of. Gestures. ]

[Maya is... silent for several seconds. Despite all the griping she's done about her competitive school, about how tensions could be high, nothing was quite like this. Never mind the fact that it was hardly out of the question in her school. Maya wasn't exactly alone in her school.]

Janis-san, I am... So sorry to hear that.

[It doesn't feel like enough but... Right now it's all she can offer.]

Thanks. It's... I mean it's not fine, but. I got most all of the violent feelings out in therapy the rest of that year.

[ She exhales. ]

Like I said, Regina deserved it.

[Sure, Maya doesn't know everything that happened but. Some things are universal constants, right? Regina George deserved it just feels right somehow.]

I would offer you some sort of reassurance, that you are amidst like minds and people who care about you now but...

Well, you know. I got a couple people I trust to have my back. Counts for something, even locked here in a freaky school by a giant robot creep.

Rest assured, if the Wizard sees fit to invite this Regina George here as a motive, I will be one of the first to have words with her.

As soon as we are free of this place, I will take you to have some. A friend of mine has made it for me before, and she never disappoints.
