[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

[Hm. Well, this is pretty standard. Cassandra's seen cuts like this before; all typical of mishaps with sharp items. It's bleeding, yes, but not deep enough that it would develop into a major problem. She's had cuts just like this, you don't get to her level of experience with a sword without them.]

I've seen worse. You just need to get some bandages on this and you'll live.

[She rises and starts looking through cabinets and drawers... Where does a doctor keep their medical stuff??]

How'd you get this cut, anyway?

I was working in the auto shop...tinkering with the "car" in there. I stuck my hand underneath to try to reach something, and it got caught.

[Since dumbass here doesn't know what makes UP a car body.]

Lemme guess, that giant metal carriage thing.

[Even she knew well enough to leave that thing alone, and look at her now!]

Listen, Varian, I'm not a alchemist, but... you can't just stick your hand in something you don't know about. You don't even have any gloves!

[Aha! Cassandra fishes a roll of fresh bandages out from a drawer, and even some medical gauze. With a bump of her hip, she shuts it and returns to Varian's side.]

I know, I know...but I have to see if I can get it working again, at least. If it works like people are saying it does...we could use it to get out of here!

[And now that the next week's location is they really might be able to-]

Uh-huh.

[She doesn't expect Varian to listen to her. When he's set his mind to something, his focus is almost nearly unshakable. The irony of that is lost on her.]

And... what exactly is that carriage in there supposed to do when it "works"?

It, well...takes you places. Like a carriage, but without the horses. It's all automatic, from what I understand.

[Which is RAD]

Automatic. Wow. [She'll concede. That is RAD.] These people have everything.

[She unrolls the bandages and gets to work.]

...You think you can get it working?

I think so. It's not old and rusted per-say like the lift in the scene shop is. It's capable of being repaired...I just need to figure out exactly how to do that.

But I'm going to try.

[Varian can't exactly call himself an inventor if he isn't willing to step outside of his comfort zone.]

And...I guess if I end up accidentally breaking it, it won't matter all that much. It isn't like we can get outside right now.

Yup. Not much sense in crying over something we wouldn't be able to use.

[Since they can't get outside. AHAHAHAHAA]

...But, if you do get it working... [Her eyes flick from Varian to the shutter doors at the end of the room.] Maybe we could find a way to take those doors down and find out what's out there.

[CASSANDRA MAKES A GOOD POINT SUDDENLY...]

You mean like...bash through them with the car?

Maybe.

I did get some rope out of the concession stand a few weeks ago. Might be strong enough to... rip the door off its hinges?

Well, you know I'm not at all against some brute force when necessary.

[Varian grins, leaning against the door of the car.]

It's not like the Wizard has come after me yet for trying to get out other ways, so. It's fine, I'm not worried.

--Right! Yup. Brute Force!

[Nothing like it, especially when it's trying to crush you to death.]

Hey, if we're going to get out of this, we might need a little brute force to use against the Wizard. Maybe... something car-sized.
