Week Three
[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.
This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.
Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
(( Be sure to submit your memory regains and your AC for this week! Hester's office hours and the merch booth also remain available! ))

I doubt this will have any effect, but I seem to not be in the mood for your commentary this day. [there...should be some more annoyance in the tone of his voice, right? Instead, they come out sounding a little dull]
no subject
[As if Salieri is EVER in the mood.]
no subject
...no, I suppose not. [he goes back to gathering up the papers] As I said, I was not expecting such a statement to affect you.
no subject
Well, something is going on with you. You're somehow both less and more moody.
I'm almost impressed.
no subject
I'm sure I don't know what you mean.

cw: more disassociation + flashbacks
Don't--[his voice is Well, Maestro? choked, a bit strangled]--don't--[Are there Salieri's expression goes distant as he stares down at the floor, that voice curling cloyingly through his mind too many notes~?] Do not--[coy, mocking, stirring something like anger low in his gut] call me that. [this, with some actual force and some anger behind it, the last word almost a growl]
no subject
What, Maestro? Your title? The thing I've been calling you this whole time.
[Not respectfully, of course not, but it's like, their thing.]
cw: lashing out verbally and yelling
I said don't! [This, actually fully shouted, snapped, as Salieri jerks himself back away from Discord and to his feet, papers crinkling in his hands a he crumples them in his fist, arm brought halfway up in front of his chest, as if he needs to ward Discord off. He's staring at him with some kind of mixture of rage and is that a hint of...fear? Uncertainty? Something along those lines]
no subject
But the shouting?
That's new.
He's maybe staring a little, because that's... strange. Salieri's whole body language and expression there is just off.]
cw: continued disassociation
Salieri sucks in a breath, swallowing hard as he suddenly straightens, arms going to his side, posture going rigid as both shame and embarrassment become live things in his stomach, roiling.]
I--that was...that was undeserved and inappropriate of me. [he's not looking at Discord any more, his gaze having dropped to somewhere near the papers at Discord's feet. He feels as though someone else is saying the words, like he's barely tethered to his body, voice gone almost stilted and with as little emotion as possible] My deepest apologies, Monsieur Discorde. Please forgive me. [and Salieri bows once, stiffly, at the waist, before straightening, and starting to pick up the scattered papers again.]
no subject
[He just crosses his arms, leaning over a little closer. Giving Salieri a look that might almost look worried but is trying harder to seem casual and annoyed.]
It's no fun if you fall apart all on your own, you know.
cw: touch adverse reactions and Disassociation for the forseeable thread
I am not falling apart. [his voice is very carefully neutral]

1/2
It isn't right. He's survived worse insults than this; everything that he's remembered should not be affecting him the way it is.
Salieri closes his eyes, and tries to gather himself as much as possible, taking a slow breath in. Control. No need for outbursts, here. He still feels oddly untethered, but it's easier now to slip on the mask he needs to wear; the calm, cool composer who does not let such petty insults get under his skin.]
2/2
As I have said: I apologize for my outburst. It will not happen again. But I truly am fine--[and, the very thing that will surely get Discord off his back]--but thank you for your concern.
[he smirks, just slightly] It's very sweet of you.
[there. That should surely be enough to distract Discord from a line of any more questioning.]
no subject
That might have gotten to him before, but now, well.
He's reformed, isn't he?]
Simply trying to act as a good friend should, of course.
[It's not exactly said super sincerely, but it's also something Discord wouldn't have even said sarcastically a couple days ago.]
no subject
I...beg your pardon?
no subject
[who is this and what has he done with discord]
no subject
If I'm not mistaken, even the idea of having friends was something rather abhorrent to you even just yesterday.
no subject
And I did remember a few things, as well. [Just leaning closer again.] I'm sure you did as well, yes?
no subject
Oh? And what is it that you remembered, then, that made you suddenly want to be friends with everyone?
no subject
no subject
In fact, I would say you have the more drastic change of the two of us.
[dryly, folding his arms over his chest]
no subject
[He walks away from Salieri a little, just going to lean against a wall, smirking a bit.]
Cool as a cucumber as always, yes, maestro?
