Week Four
[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.
You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.
Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

WEDNESDAY
The Husbandry Club is meeting on the football field at noon! Upon arrival, attendees will find:
- A small flock of chickens. Feed them. Do it. Fucking do it.
- One goat! This is a female goat, and can be milked if you're so inclined; you've even got buckets! Unfortunately, she seems to live for Mischief.
- A pair of friendly donkeys! They would like to be pet.
- Three piglets! They would like to be held and fed, but with fewer implied threats than the chickens.
By the end of the day, all of these animals will be gone - with the notable exception of the goat! If not taken in by anyone, she will henceforth live in the woods and/or the corn field and be a menace to all.]
on wednesday night...
It isn't the house doors, where everybody files in when a trial is called. It's the locked doors on one end of the scene shop - which, logically, must lead to the backstage area.
Without a trial, the auditorium is dark. The stage itself, however, is illuminated by a single ghost light on the edge of the stage. The shadows it casts are sharp. The stage is quiet - ]

Oh my god, we did it! I knew we could -
[Oh, oh, he's maybe getting a little too excited! The Balladeer raises a hand, freezes for a moment, and goes on in a whisper when nothing happens.]
Let's just be quiet. I really doubt the Wizard actually lives back here or anything, but you never know.

Investigation
While waiting for Eurydice, he warms up, facing the door, watching. Each time it opens, he greets the entrant with:] Morning!
[After a brief break at the meeting, Angus collects his new grappling hook and heads outside to the courtyard. He walks along the perimeter of the school, looking for an ideal spot, and decides on a spot he assumes is close enough to the auditorium. If the Wizard resides anywhere, it should be above that room.]
Wish me luck.

Eventually, she'll leave the project for the time being, though! She opts to go outside and, well. She'd intended to simply go for a run around the football field but... She's pretty quickly distracted by the animals. She's not exactly a pet person but... Well.
She does end up with a chicken in her lap at some point. And though her eyes still seem distant, her shoulders seem to relax, just a little!
After some time with the therapy chickens, Maya returns to her work in the costume room. It keeps her busy until later in the evening. It's only then that she makes her way to Rodgers dorm.]

He actually spends a lot of the day at the Husbandry Club, as opposed to how he's usually working his ass off in the scene or auto shops. It's like some part of his brain said "hey, no. Go pet the babies" and he was just too tired to tell it no.
So he can be found here (sans Ruddiger so as not to scare them, he's frolicking in the woods right now anyway) in various configurations for the next few hours. He's just straight up sitting on the ground with them because who cares anymore, holding one of the baby piglets as it suckles noisily on a bottle in his other hand.
Or later, you might see him cradling a single baby chick between both palms as it peeps softly up at him.
Sometimes you're a depressed teen who needs to go touch baby animals for the afternoon, okay.]
Ferralah strikes again
Time to pretend it never ever happened! Except for the mission that Salieri’s given her, which is actually pretty important. She gets up bright and early, and marches right out to the Gayseball Field to begin her investigation.
She goes snooping through the shed with baseball equipment first—- and in typical Farrah fashion, she throws all the baseballs out of the shed, one by one. She’ll even knock some out with a bat. Damn, girl should have been on the softball team!
The announcer’s booth at the Gayseball field is pretty fun too— she’s fairly good with technology, so she’ll figure it out pretty quick.]
Hey, Wizard, is your refrigerator running?
Well you better go catch it! [BADUM-TSH]
[After that, she’s back to investigate the football field. The weird mannequin-grave gets some checking out— has anyone cleaned up the mess she dug up like a dog? She also romps through that shed—- though the gardening tools make her a little sick to her stomach. They’re just a little... sharp. She vaguely considers locking them up with the other knives.
She’s pondering this when she wanders back onto the field and—- surprise! It’s club time!
Farrah can be found feeding chickens and squealing with delight as they run after her for more food, or even cooing over and petting a chicken.
The goat gets played with too— she laughs when it head-butts her and knocks her down. Then she gets right back up and starts running around with the dang thing again. What’s that about birds of a feather?
Finally, she can be found perched on the bleachers , petting the nice donkeys. ]
I love them all.

Investigation
They have to get out of here. They have to. He can’t let another of these children die (whether they’re legally children or not, it matters little.) Perhaps he might move to tug a blanket up around a couple of them, trying to be as quiet as possible as he makes sure they’re settled and warm enough before he leaves.
The first thing he does is head straight for the Band Room with a rather determined look on his face. Once there, he’s going to investigate every square inch of the place--pulling instruments out from shelves, checking the shelves, opening the cases and looking inside the instruments themselves if he has to. Nothing is safe. He’ll even be turning over chairs and tables to check the underside if need be.
After his investigation, Salieri is going to venture down to the vending machine. His haul is then transferred to the Cafeteria where he takes advantage of the long tables to sort through it all. The lizard is placed delicately in the terrarium and set aside for a certain someone with a small smile. The guitar is given a curious look, and also set aside. The guns and the Death Note both gain a look of distaste, and are placed in the pile with the fish to be disposed of. The wine, on the other hand, along with the pie are pushed to a smaller pile, definitely for safekeeping. He’ll just be here, sorting through things for a bit, don’t mind him. ]

She recognizes them immediately.
You can find her, shellshocked and standing in a pile of junk, holding those papers. For a long time, she's just staring at them, hands shaking a little, and she won't notice you approach.
Eventually, she'll take them over to a table in the corner of the cafeteria, spreading them all out and marking them up with a pencil. She reads the contract over and over again. She reads the fine print. She circles text, she makes notes, she tries to look for any possible loopholes, but the terms are absolute: she belongs to Hades now, and her service is indefinite. She cannot quit, nor leave.
In the evening (before whatever the heck is happening in that ominous toplevel!), you might notice a small plume of smoke coming from the woods. Should you choose to approach it, you'll find Eurydice sitting in front of a bonfire, burning one page of the contract at a time. Every so often, she'll take a swig from the formerly-empty Mountain Dew bottle. She's mixed Persephone's wine, the
green elixirabsinthe, and the last of the Mountain Dew. It tastes just as bad as it sounds. Eurydice does not seem to care. ]Woods | cw: alcohol

After that she spends some of her afternoon at animal husbandry with the animals, before heading over to the regains machine and getting a whole bunch of stuff. Two things in particular get her attention though. First is the CD which has her and all her friends on it. She stares at it for a very long time, knowing that even though she doesn't remember this CD it must have all them singing together on it and that makes her feel very warm... and a little melancholic as she thinks about how long it's been since she's seen any of them.
...and then the knife comes out.
And she screams.
After all that though, she eventually makes it to the library. She's set herself up at one of the tables, some crafting books in front of her and a whole bunch of thread and beads from the costume shop. She seems to be working on something but the instant anyone approaches she quickly tries to hide them. ]

MODS: investigation!
(Plenty of things happen in the day instead, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.)
He gets up and goes through his morning routine, washing up in the boys' locker room as well as taking an extra moment to try to wash his spare uniform in the sink as best he can despite it being mostly white and having paint on it now. Then he heads to the kitchen for breakfast and to take inventory before approaching the machine.
And boy, does it spit out a lot of garbage this time. He manages to sidestep the avalanche of trombones, thankfully, watching the machine eject them at considerable speed, before finally giving up the rest of its bounty, including a pickaxe and... part of a tiara? Strange. He gets down to sorting it all into piles - trombones (and tuba), prop room, kitchen, costume room, and useful things to hold on to.
And then a bunch of other stuff happens that distracts him for several hours but not so long as to run into that ominous Wednesday Night prompt, but he'll return to do some INVESTIGATING, starting with the stairs. What's up with those? How are they blocked off, exactly?]

Investigation! (read: attempted vandalism)
The first thing he does is try and follow through on the plan that Salieri gave him at the meeting. To that end, he goes first to the scene shop - luckily everyone was at the meeting, or else him lifting the heavy tools and giving wide practice swings would look pretty suspicious. He stops when he notices if he has company, but it's possible someone might walk in to see him hauling off and slamming holes in a prop door with a hammer, or a crowbar, or a 4x4 beam, the same kind he kneecapped Bigfoot with.
Once he's chosen his first weapon - the crowbar - he goes to the mystery door. Unfortunately for the door, his muscles now remember years and years of hard labor. One locky boy vs one jacked dad - fight!
After he's either forced to admit defeat, or done investigating, he goes outside, taking a seat in the courtyard, where he just. Sits. For a long while.]

investigation
Morning comes around and, true to Cassandra's word, she's off to the gym bright and early for some investigating. She doesn't expect much; they've all spent more than enough time in here, but it might be worth a look... starting with a peek under those collapsible bleachers.
Later on, around lunch, Cassandra's absent from lunch. A quick search will discover that she moved into the weight room for - what else? - a one-woman workout routine. She can found here making use of everything, either on her back, lifting a barbell, or testing her leg strength with the weight-lifting equipment. It's just a cycle, from one thing to the other, all with the same determined fervor.
Because sometimes you just need to put all of your energy and focus into working as much as possible, and then you'll have nothing to spare for other things you need to think about.
Like motives! Who cares about those, right?
But make no mistake, Cassandra does come to the animal husbandry club. At least... physically. Mentally, she might be far away from here, but physically, the dark-haired woman is on her back in the grass.
Cassandra is de- No, not dead. Just tired. And a couple of baby chickens have settled on top of her chest, peeping at her inquisitively.]

The motive is concerning, but he doesn't feel it too keenly himself; there's nothing he can think of that could possibly be worth killing over, so not acting doesn't feel much like he's losing anything. As such, it seems like he should be filling in to take care of the others, right?
In the morning, he can be found in the kitchen making pancakes. This is not the first time he's attempted this, but he actually seems to be meeting with a reasonable amount of success this time! Hardly any are burnt!]
You want any?
[In the afternoon, he does attend husbandry club. Most of that time is spent rubbing a donkey nose with each hand and attempting to feed them some of the chicken feed. He also spends a while sitting on the ground trying to hold baby chicks, because gosh that looks awfully cute!]
Lots of animals at these things. Not that I'm complaining, I like animals.
[When that's done, he'll be sitting out in the garden again. The memorial benches seem to have struck him a little oddly, especially with how some people have been leaving tributes there, so he just goes back to sitting under the tree instead. He doesn't have any ideas for stuff to leave at the benches himself. There's only one way he's ever been able to memorialize the dead. So he'll be there, strumming idly on his guitar, until it starts to get dark.]

Don't worry, I promise we'll turn you into bacon last.
[Later still, having exhausted the relaxation available via petting zoo, she's seeking out Elle with an armful of- mostly stage makeup and supplies from the costume shop honestly.]
