[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

[Salieri's off to the Library this morning to see if he can find some information on first aid, and manages to find a couple books, about to look for a table when he spots Rina. Curious, he moves to step closer and observe...however, when he gets too close and upon getting that reaction, his eyebrows go up as he takes a couple steps back]

Ah...my apologies. I didn't mean to disturb your work, Mademoiselle.

[samefacesyndrome]

[ She quickly scrambles to put books on top of her other bead creations, anything to keep them out of sight. ]

Mmmmmmmmm... apology accepted. But you better forget anything you saw! Or I'll be very cross!

[ Not that there was much to see except a bunch of bead... things. ]

[oh, well, in that case, he immediately averts his eyes to the ceiling]

I would never want to risk your wrath, Mademoiselle Rina. So I shall immediately do as you ask and wipe away any memory that I have had in the last few moments and forget it entirely, as you command.

Good! Rina-chan Board says… “all smiles!”

[ She pauses for a moment though, thinking. ]

Mmm… if you don’t mind waiting for me to finish I can give you a present as thanks for forgetting it.

[asldkhfs help she's just...such a charming young lady.]

Well, with an offer like that, how could I refuse?

Shall I turn away, then, so that you may finish?

No, it’s okay. This one’s a different project, so I’ll just put the others away if you want to sit and wait.

[ She starts to discreetly move the other project into a bag for later and take out a half finished bracelet. ]

I wanted to talk to you anyway.

[violentenvies]

Oh? [well in that case, he'll let her move that other project into the bag, glancing to the side, before he moves to sit at the table as well]

What is it you wished to speak to me about?

[ The board is done now as she goes to work and adding more beads to it. ]

Um… remember how I told you before that I was thinking of becoming a School Idol?

Well I… I did it! I remember now! I put on my very own concert!

Did you really? [his expressions brightens immediately with something like excitement]

Mademoiselle, that's wonderful to hear. How did it go, then?

It was amazing! I feel like I really connected with the whole audience and so many people were cheering me on...!

[ Has she ever sounded this excited before? Nope, never. It's kinda weird considering her actual face is the same as ever but her tone is so very different. ]

All my friends in the club were supporting me too... it was like a dream come true.

[Well...she certainly sounds excited. The difference between her tone and her facial expression is a little jarring, but nothing that he can't adjust to. He's well aware of how they react to anything different in Court, but fortunately, they are far away from there. More importantly, he may not be able to read her emotions off her expression like he's used to, but it's easy enough to parse in her voice. This was Rina's dream, just as she described to him little more than a couple weeks ago, and it seems like she managed to succeed. To great success as well. If anyone deserves that, it's certainly Rina. How can he help but feel absolutely ecstatic for her?]

It sounds like it was quite the experience. Though it doesn't surprise me that the audience loved you. [there's a sincere warmth to his tone] What did you sing?

Um... it was my own song. One that I wrote myself with my friends helping.

[ As she adds in a few more black and blue beads, she smiles a little and starts to sing: ]

[Salieri listens as she sings--it's a bright song, and a happy one, and he can't help but smile as she sings it. It's catchy.]

You wrote that yourself? [if it sounds like he's impressed, it's because he is]

[ She nods. ]

Yeah. With some help. I… really wanted the song to come from my heart.

[ She looks down at the almost complete bracelet in her hands. ]

I wish I could share the actual performance with you all. My Rina-chan Board recorded it but it looks like the memory was wiped.

Perhaps you could perform it for us here? We do have that stage in the cafeteria. I'm sure everyone here would love to see what you worked so hard on.

R-Really?!

[ She's so surprised and excited by the suggestion she nearly drops all her beads. ]

C-Could I? I... I would really like that if I could!

[violentenvies]

Of course! [she'll get a wider smile from him at that, excited by her own excitement] We could get lights set up there again, I'm sure. And I don't know if there's a way for you to play music, but if needed, I could certainly play the piano if you give me the chords.

[Salieri leans forward just a bit] After all, I shouldn't be the only composer to get to show off their work, right? [he gives her a wink, then, conspiratorial]

[ She's quiet for a moment, before setting the bracelet aside and grabbing her paper board to put back up. Behind it she's blushing a little bit but the face she puts up is excited... sparkling. ]

O-Okay! I'll try and see if I can remember the chords! O-Or maybe even think of a new song. School Idols always have to keep their performances fresh a-after all...!

Rina-chan Board says... "excitement"!

Perhaps you could do both. A small concern couldn't go amiss. [his smile widens as she holds up that board, and he can't help but laugh a bit.]

I'm excited, too. I'm looking forward to seeing your performance with my own eyes.

[samefacesyndrome]

[ She's giggling a little bit as well, her mind now racing to think of new songs, what kind of costume to wear, the dance routine...

And then she remembers the bracelet. ]

--Oh right. I finished the present. Could you hold your wrist out for me?

[violentenvies]

Hm? [He makes a curious sound, but holds his wrist out obediently] A present for me?

[he sounds surprised, but flattered and pleased at once]

[ She takes the bracelet and starts to tie it on. Like with the others she sings again. ]

The wind is flowing smoothly,

[ She finishes tying. The bracelet she made for Salieri is not quite as elaborate as the other ones, rather it seems to just be a simple line of beads.. but there is a bit of a pattern. A white and black pattern that resembles piano keys. On one end of the row there's a single orange bead and on the other opposite end there's a blue one. ]

There! Do you like it?

[Salieri holds still while she ties it on, and something goes tight and warm in his chest as she sings, quietly. When Rina's finished tying it on, he cups his wrist with his other hand, bringing it closer to his face so he can get a better look at it, turning it back and forth, noting the piano keyboard pattern on it. Before coming here, he hadn't received any gifts that hadn't had strings attached, but now...between this and the ones from Spongebob, Varian, and Farrah, it's enough to make his throat go tight again, and he has to clear it, blinking a little faster as his eyes go wet]

[he does pause, however, noting the orange and blue beads]

Might I ask...what are these two for?

[samefacesyndrome]

[ Rina beams - well the board does but you know - before giggling. ]

That’s a surprise for later!

I’ll give you a little hint though: they match someone else’s.

Oh? [he looks a bit bemused at that, at the mischievous face she holds up]

So I need to figure out whose bracelet it matches, then?
