[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Well, as it stands, I was, in fact, attempting to follow the rules.

By telling my partner where I was going. [dryly, with a pointed look]

You were going to wake me up, Maestro? It's important to get enough rest!

But...he pauses, almost seeming to hesitate]

Actually...truth be told, I was hoping to bribe you out of bed. [he lifts the wine bottle, arching an eyebrow]

Admittedly, wine and chess don't constitute my best attempt at bribery, but my options at the moment are rather limited.

Bribery! Does your moral depravity know no end? You should be ashamed.

[All said while, of course, looking entirely too pleased with himself.]

Well, I suppose I should stick to our little buddy system...

I know, I'm utterly terrible. [he pushes off the wall, rolling his eyes, starting to advance in his direction.]

And yet, it seems that my slipping morals have worked to my advantage. [Salieri'll offer Discord a smirk as he steps past him, continuing to head down the hall in the direction he was already going.]

Oh, it's far too dull in there, I'd lose my mind. Sometimes I need to shake things up a bit.
