[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

[Salieri looks a bit amused at all the grime, but is rather unsurprised at this point]

For some reason they seem intent on gifting me with the things, and if I keep them all they'll just end up piling up in the drawers. [he sounds annoyed, lmao]

However, I did want to ask--[he turns to gently pull over the terrarium]--I did get another lizard...and something to put them in. I was wondering if you might have an interest?

[Varia steps closer so he can look at the terrarium, leaning down to peer into the glass.]

That'd be great, actually! I had been thinking about just releasing my little guy, but...hearing about how the forest is fake and stuff, it didn't feel right, you know?

I can certainly understand why that might dissuade you from releasing it. Fortunately, you now have somewhere much safer for it to live. [speaking of animals, though, he is definitely breaking off a small piece of that pie crust and casually offering it to Ruddiger.

No he's not soft on this raccoon why do you ask.]

[Ruddiger takes the pie crust reverently, like he's been handed a precious jewel. Thank you for this gift, kind sir.

Varian snorts, ruffling the raccoon's ears because why are you so fat.]

Exactly. I don't mind letting Ruddiger run around in the woods a little, at least...mostly because I know he'll come back.

[He just needs some trees to climb, let him live.]

That is reassuring, yes. And all that running around is probably good for him.

Isn't it, young man? [yeah that was definitely directed at Ruddiger, with a small smirk]

[Ruddiger nods, prompting another laugh from Varian because WELL he sure does need the exercise that's for sure...]

Other than the lizards though, did you happen to get anything else that might be useful? Or is it just the usual junk?

Mostly just the usual junk, though it did gave me some...peculiar things. [he says it with distaste, motioning to the two guns] I'm going to figure out some way to dispose of those.

Those aren't...loaded, right?

I'm...not entirely sure and I would rather not find out.

[Varian frowns in the direction of said guns.]

Maybe you should just...hide them somewhere. Somewhere only you would know about.

[Because he trusts Salieri explicitly. He wouldn't use them for any reason.]

Perhaps I'll lock them into my locker. That way they're completely inaccessible.
