Let's Get Down to Business, to Defeat the Wiz

[Hello everyone! On Wednesday morning there will be notes slipped under each of the dorm room doors.]

SPONGEBOB AND LSP'S TOTALLY NOT SUSPICIOUS PARTY
Sunday @ 5pm - Whenever we're done!
Near the woods (at the bonfire!!!)

[It sounds totally fine!

Spongebob spends most of the day prepping with LSP to get ready. Making snacks, decorating, the works! And when the time arrives, they practically drag everyone living to the Bonfire. And it's quite a cute little set up! Like last time, there are a bunch of nice snacks set up, as well as blankets and pillows. As well as the roaring bonfire in the middle of it all.

The moment everyone gets closes enough, however, Spongebob makes a tape ring around everyone. It's decently large, so they have plenty of leg room, but it definately confides them to a close space.

He then clears his throat and speaks loudly as he walks around the circle, looking serious in a way that would probably look intimidating if he didn't look like an angry kitten.]

Dear fellow classmates! I have gathered you here today because it's come to my attention that we need to work on our friendship and trust skills. You're all my family and I love you but we can't expect to defeat the Wizard and save our fallen comrades if we're worried about us killing each other!

[Spongebob stops suddenly look at the group.]

So! LSP and I have taken it upon ourselves to make sure no one leaves this circle until we have a plan to destroy the Wizard and all agree we're going to be best friends with each other! We made plenty of snacks so you guys don't gotta worry about starving.

[Honestly here anyone could easily just pick Spongebob out and walk out with him but.

The emotional toil that would be! Besides, a meeting could be good right now!]

[Eventually, Spongebob pulls out a piece of paper from ~~Eurydice's~~ his coat, gently unfolds it, and places it down on the ground.

It's Per's Ouija Board!]

Per was such a great friend and let me borrow this! I think we owe our friends a chat again, right?

[Angus sets Bruiser down and pets him, eyeing the piece of paper worriedly. He looks at the sky over the cornfields.]

[ ...She has ulterior motives okay, she always has ulterior motives— ]

Are, uh... Are we sure the Wizard won't try and smite us again?

Aww c'mon, he's seemed completely silent since that execution! I bet he has other things to worry about than this!

First sign of rain, we run.

[ awww peregrine, do YOU have the brain cell today? ]

Okay.

[Setting his weapon and dog aside, Angus kneels over the paper.] How many people do we need for this.

[Just one message. If he can leave just one message]

As many as want to join in, really.

I will!

[He puts his hands on the planchette.]

[...]

Hi ghosts.

[Is... is this how he does this?]

Nnnot...like that.

[ She places a finger on the planchette as well. ]

It's...usually best to choose a leader, and we start by asking questions. Spongebob, would you like to be the leader? Maybe...ask if there's anyone here with us today?

Okay, I promise I'll be a great leader!

[He clears his throat.]

Is there anyone here with us today?

[Angus watches Peregrine and Spongebob with rapt attention. There are only two people watching the paper now, but another wouldn't hurt, would it? He leans over, hunched on the ground, looking directly at the letters and waiting for the first sign of movement.

It's quiet. He bites his lip.]

[And he jerks away. Like a puppet being pulled on a string, Angus's torso and arms are quickly adjusted into an upright sitting position, perfect posture, perfect kneeling position, hands perfectly folded on his knees.

His eyes widen, his mouth hands open slightly.]

Ah-

[Despite his reaction, there's nothing in the direction he's staring at. There is no strange noise in the area. As far as anyone knows, Angus isn't looking at anything, yet that grimace on his face is growing with each passing second...]

[And he relaxes.

Angus breathes a sigh of relief and settles into a more comfortable sitting position. A shrug, he rubs the side of his head, confused.]
