SPONGEBOB AND LSP'S TOTALLY NOT SUSPICIOUS PARTY

Near the woods (at the bonfire!!!)

[It sounds totally fine!

Spongebob spends most of the day prepping with LSP to get ready. Making snacks, decorating, the works! And when the time arrives, they practically drag everyone living to the Bonfire. And it's quite a cute little set up! Like last time, there are a bunch of nice snacks set up, as well as blankets and pillows. As well as the roaring bonfire in the middle of it all.

The moment everyone gets closes enough, however, Spongebob makes a tape ring around everyone. It's decently large, so they have plenty of leg room, but it definately confides them to a close space.

He then clears his throat and speaks loudly as he walks around the circle, looking serious in a way that would probably look intimidating if he didn't look like an angry kitten.]

Dear fellow classmates! I have gathered you here today because it's come to my attention that we need to work on our friendship and trust skills. You're all my family and I love you but we can't expect to defeat the Wizard and save our fallen comrades if we're worried about us killing each other!

[Spongebob stops suddenly look at the group.]

So! LSP and I have taken it upon ourselves to make sure no one leaves this circle until we have a plan to destroy the Wizard and all agree we're going to be best friends with each other! We made plenty of snacks so you guys don't gotta worry about starving.

[Honestly here anyone could easily just pick Spongebob out and walk out with him but.

The emotional toil that would be! Besides, a meeting could be good right now!]

[Okay, shithead, after getting on his ass about not recognizing his wife, you're not going to get away with just brushing past your damn fiancee.

He grits his teeth to keep his anger in check, grinding his back molars, because he knows he's being extra spicy about this.]

[He sucks in a breath and cuts himself off, rather like an angry bull, and then abruptly removes himself to the other side of the circle.]

Whoa-- hey--- [Her heads whipping between all three of them, and also Spongebob, because wow, that thing he said about Discord was a little worrying, but---

Farrah spins abruptly when he finally starts to move away, and follows after him]

Dad--- [No, not the dead one this time.]

[He doesn't leave the circle entirely, just moves away from Angus, his back to the little "seance" going on. Whatever's going on, that isn't Angus.

He has to keep telling himself that, over and over, to keep himself from decking the man.]

Don't worry about me. [He says it gently, but without much emotion.] I just need to... cool off for a minute.

I'm right here if you need anything. [She says, hesitating briefly, then giving his arm two little pats. Then she's back to the seance.]

[ She sees this and follows, placing a hand as gently as she can on his arm if he allows it... but when she speaks she tries to at least be loud enough that everyone else can hear it. ]

This is not him right now. This is... what I meant when I said they came back wrong before.

This is what the SQUIP thinks makes people "better". Removing their passion and emotions... making them no longer care about the things they love and hold dear. If they turn off he'll be back to normal but...

[He says it quietly. He doesn't reject the fluffy mascot paw hand on his arm, nor really react to it at all. But he's still pretty tense.]

[He would know that even without her explanation, he just. Can't conceive of a situation where he could see Lucy just out of his reach and be able to focus on anything else.]
