Week Three
[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.
This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.
Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
(( Be sure to submit your memory regains and your AC for this week! Hester's office hours and the merch booth also remain available! ))

"I'm okay, mom. I'm okay."
The dream—the memories— that's changed some things. Peregrine keeps going over it in her mind, and she's not...okay, so to speak, but the way she holds herself is less...closed off? It's weird. This is weird.
The point is, yesterday she spent most of her time processing that, and doing a cursory look over the place. Today, she's going to really dig in and explore. She spends some time in the Auto Shop, not really looking at the car or anything, but instead trying to jerryrig a way to get that garage door open! ...It does not work. But feel free to find her with a crowbar, or staring very intently at that hydraulic car lift! ]
...We could always...maybe if that lift in the scene shop...
[ Later, before the meeting, she's got a lot of coins, so. Vending machine it is. Maybe that'll give her something she can use to get that garage door open!
It does not. It gives her a lot of things!! But none of them seem useful in the way she wants. She gets a particularly startling surprise when a whole deer comes flying at her— no. No wait, that's a fake deer. Like you'd use in a play. Peregrine lets out a shaky laugh, because she was totally not scared, and pushes it over. ]
Fake deer. Stupid fake deer. What's...
[ She'll spend a little time there, gathering up just all of this, separating them into food, clothes, etc. before she starts moving it all back into her room. Her trunk's getting kind of full... Maybe she should start actually getting rid of some of this stuff. ]
Vending Machine
What do you have there?!
[Immediately falling on his knees to make sure that this - not this of all things - is in possession of The Wizard.]
no subject
It's- it's just plastic, man, chill!!
no subject
Are you sure? It's not the real thing? [Grabbing it anyway, horrified that she'll be wrong and...huh. It's not wood. He swears the handle was made of wood. Angus visibly relaxes.]
no subject
You know, I've handled a lot of knives before. I know what I'm doing. [ She holds up her hands as proof, with the callouses and the healing cuts that she'd showed off at the trial. ]

Peregrine-san, would you like some help...?
no subject
I can take a few trips... [ ... ] But yeah, honestly. If you've got a hand to spare.
no subject
[ She moves to start gathering things but... very quickly spots SANIC. ]
Hm?
[ She reaches out for him to get a better look. ]
Oh, it's Sonic! That's so cute!
[ > v < ]
no subject
Do you want him?
no subject
She looks at Peregrine, eyes just slightly wider. ]
I-I would like one but... it's yours! A-Are you sure I can have him?
no subject
I was never a stuffed animal kinda girl to begin with, it's fine. Besides, looks like you really want it, right?

auto shop
[He's leaning against one of the support columns in the room, spinning a wrench in his hand.]
Easier to contain than in the lobby.
no subject
[ The latest crowbar attempt having failed, Peregrine oh-so-maturely kicks the garage door. ]
...You really think that's a good idea? The whole bomb thing?
no subject
Ehhh. In the bigger picture, probably not? But what else are we gonna do, you know? [He tosses the wrench back in the toolbox he got it from.] By the way, I got something from the vending machine you might like.
cw: animal bits why is she like this
And then: ] What? …Is it gonna be another deer skin? ‘Cause I’m kinda having a hard time finding places to put the stray flesh.

[He bends down and raches behind him to grab what's clearly a storage box from the costume room that used to hold makeup or something in it. He's tied ribbon around it to make it look like it's an actual present.
Anyway, he holds that out for her to take.]
And a very merry unbirthday to you, Peregrine Wells.
no subject
Connor, what? [ She takes it after a moment, not wanting to leave him hanging. ] You coulda just given it to me.

Huh. Do you mind if I... [ he reaches out for it, looking to Peregrine for approval. It came out during her go at the machine, so he figures she has a sort of claim to it. ]
no subject
Huh? Uhh, yeah, knock yourself out. You recognize it.

[ Wizards. ]

[ The deer skins are one thing, but. ] He's just snatching our stuff.
no subject
[ Not that he has much in the way of personal possessions, but this is a weird pull. ]
no subject
There's nothing...special about it? Like, nothing at all?
