Week Three
[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.
This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.
Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
(( Be sure to submit your memory regains and your AC for this week! Hester's office hours and the merch booth also remain available! ))

I've never met any of my siblings, if I have them? But losing people is never easy, whether they're family or friends. I'm sorry that happened. If you ever want to talk about it, I'm here? I understand if not, though.

How...do you not know if you've got any siblings?
no subject
[ He shrugs! Goddesses can do that! ]
She never really talked about it, and by the time I was old enough to think about asking she wasn't around anymore.
[ He seems a little sad about it, but not too bothered by the subject coming up, at least. ]

Is...your mom like...supernatural...?

[ This time he looks a little uneasy, like he's trying not to come across like he's bragging. There's reasons he doesn't talk about his family much, and that's one of them. ]
no subject
You're a demigod?
no subject
I'm not really strong, or fast, or clever like most of the other ones I've met, but. Yes, technically.

Um. I've never really thought about it? Maybe. Immortality is strange, and it isn't really clear how people inherit it. Like I met a pair of twins once where one of them was immortal, but the other wasn't.
[ He shrugs, again. ]
I guess I won't really know unless I start getting older but not looking it, or something like that.

So...did you get anything from it? Like— okay, the stories are all like, you're strong, you're quick, you're...in a really bad adaptation of a good book series. [ Fuck the Lightning Thief movie, amiright— ] But— you haven't talked about any...abilities, like the others, that you don't have anymore.

Oh! There's a couple of things, I guess? Mostly animals really like it when I sing or play instruments, and if I try really hard I can make rocks move around a little? I can also make plants grow a little sometimes. That still works? I managed to get the little potted tree in the lobby to flower on our first day here.
[ You know, the ficus. The one that's absolutely made of plastic but that also definitely has little white flowers all over it now and didn't at the start of all this. ]
I don't know about the rest, though. There aren't really rocks or that many animals around to try it on.

So... You're like a Disney princess.
[ per jesus christ ]

They're like...a big company and they make movies about princesses who have adventures and all the animals love them, and they sing beautifully, and that's you.

[ yeah that's just what this entire thread is going to be now ]
But— wait, what year is it for you?!
no subject
no subject
150 years? That's... Oh, man, when was the United States... [ There was a movie about it, right? Like multiple ones. Peregrine starts murmuring to herself. ]
Mary Silliman’s War, The Patriot, Johnny Tremain, April Morning, John Adams— [ And then it hits her, and she blurts out: ] 1776!!
It was 1776!!
[ thanks per, this solves nothing ]

Right, I think that's what Elisabeth said too? But it was founded in 638.3 where I come from. I don't really know what's going on with that? It's strange.

The 150 year celebration happened when I was around twelve, so it'd be more like... 1930, for you? If you count straight instead of the years going in cycles.

[ It's a puzzle and she wants to figure it out. ]

[ And he'd sort of been too nervous about the upcoming Boat Quest to pay much attention to it, unfortunately. ]
But maybe! We can go check, after you're done sorting this stuff. I can help, if you want? I'm not doing anything right now.
