week 2
[From the day you arrived on the planet, and blinking, stepped into the sun. There's more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done. Yet, still, the whole thing seems...monotonous. Surely there must be some excitement, some showmanship, some sort of plot twist that could keep this show moving onward?
Welcome to week 2, gents.]

Maybe that's all she needed to reset, because reasonably early Sunday morning, she's in the kitchen, making herself a rolled omelette. A pretty blue ribbon hangs from the right side of her hair, tied in a loose bow, though it looks a little silly with her hair pulled back. So it won't get in her way? Probably. You might also catch her looking through the cabinets for something, rather determined.
It's laundry day, though she's not washing her school uniform, just some extra outfits. ...They're not really anything to write home about, honestly, looks like she's not great at putting together a good ensemble wardrobe. Some jackets, a less-than-fashionable sweater. Pleated skirts.
Throughout most of the day, she just flits around, a little idle. Sits in the lobby writing something on a clipboard in her lap, occasionally appearing a little confused.
Overall, her attitude's much better. A day of rest can do anyone good!

[Hime runs over and clasps her hands, then smiles up at D-ne.]
I was showing Jezebel how to make it last week! I bet yours is great.
no subject
You're too kind, Hime-san. It's, ah, passable, I'm sure, edible.

A- Astarte-san! You are, ah, a sneaky person.

...The shadows are good to me.
[Um. Is she staring at the cabinet.]
no subject
I- I see. [Sigh.] To answer... I was trying to see if there's any natto here.

What are you working on?
no subject
It's nothing much, just, ah...passing the time by thinking about mysteries from back home.
no subject
[so you're totally going to tell her what's up, right]

The oldest "ghost story" from my school...is about the "Bookmark of Demise." Ten years ago, four students were brutally murdered. It was never solved, and the teachers rarely talk of it...but there's a rumor passed among the students. They died because they found a blank book and a cat bookmark - the Book and Bookmark of Demise.
They say you must never touch it, because tragedy will befall you if you do. ...But they also say it's the key to solving the mystery of how and why those four died.
[D-ne smiles!]
It's a rather horrifying story and I don't know much about it, but it's what my club is dedicated to finding.

You're, ah...Seymour-san, yes? You wouldn't have happened to see natto in your time in the kitchen, would you?

Hesitantly she approaches D-ne.]
So... can you show me how to use one of these? Please?

So many of you unfamiliar with washers... This'll make both "princesses" I've given tips to on this. [That is definitely not a no, and she gestures Anna to a machine.]
no subject
[She moves over to the machine and waits patiently. Is there something special she should be doing?]

Nervous, Winslow tapped one cabinet as he began to scrawl a message on the clipboard and slid it over the counter as he hid out of view.
"Looking for something?"]
no subject
Ever since the first day when poor Winslow was banging against the box office, D-ne has... Well, she's been aware of his existence! But she was far too nervous to inquire about his whole everything then. Now it seems the time's come to fix that, though. She turns and sees...the clipboard and the edge of Winslow's cape as he hides, alright then. Has she found someone equally shy...?]
Ah... Yes, sir, ah- Leach-san? [wow that is a horribly unfortunate name] I'm trying to see if there's any natto here...though you probably don't know what that is, do you?
no subject
Winslow seeing that she's not running off, inches into view. He reaches for his clipboard to scrawl again.
"What is it? I could help."]
no subject
[She closes the cabinet she'd been looking in - no luck there, and it was a bit too high for her, standing on her tiptoes.] I was hoping we would have some in an instant package, because...well, making it from scratch takes a long time.
