week 1
[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.
The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.
If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.
Enjoy your week, everyone.]
[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]
OTA
The kitchen is another one of her stops. The future is so fascinating. She's never seen anything like this back home! This was all so futuristic that she has no idea what any of this does. She can be seen playing with the mixer, giggling in delight as the beaters turn. The stove is another target of curiosity. She doesn't know what it does until the plates start glowing red... and she lightly burns her fingers trying to figure out why. Ow. Otherwise she's found the candies and happily munches away on them.]
This place is amazing!
kitchen
Are those honey candies?
no subject
It's a lot of different ones. I found chocolate, fruit ones, and some honey. They're all wrapped the same so you don't know what you get till you open it!
[She holds out a handful.] Wanna try some?
no subject
Thank you! Yuuko is right, sharing food is fun!
no subject
You're welcome~ Yuuko?

[Because candy should be shared!]

[Its a kitchen?...]
Why?
no subject
The kitchens like this aren't something we have back home.
no subject
[If anything wouldn't her kitchen be sumptuous or something?]

[Despite her upbeat attitude, she's not taking the 'from the past' thing that well. She's very good at hiding it at this time since the situation is already stressful enough for everyone. How can she be here and be from the past? It's like something from a book.]
no subject
[Uh, oops?]
I'm from the year 2001. This is all normal, for me, but I...guess you probably guessed already.
no subject
[Okay. OKAY. THIS IS... She frowns deeply.] That's.... that's hundreds of years ahead of me... t-there's no way!

[She doesn't even think about how they might be poisonous. Then again, why would management want to kill them like this?]
Want some?
no subject
[She shakes her head.]
No, I don't.
no subject
So you're not going to eat anything while you're here?
no subject
no subject
Well, you're missing out! These are the best candies I've ever eaten!

Kitchen
It is, isn't it? I could never have imagined such a thing.
no subject
When I watched Cook make anything in the kitchen he only ever used spoons, knives, and some other things. Nothing like this! I can't wait for the future.
[Anna, you won't live long enough to see any of this be created.]
no subject
I don't imagine I'll ever see these at home. [It's a reasonable estimate; he's fairly old and it's 1832.] So I am glad for the chance to explore them here, at least. Have you seen this micro-wave?
no subject
I'll tell my sister all about the things here when I get home. She'll be so surprised, she'll want some of them!
[She tilts her head.] Micro-wave? [Like a little wave in the ocean?]
no subject
[Jean Valjean now knows how to cook a hot pocket, and he will pass that knowledge on.]
You put the food inside and press the buttons to tell it how long to cook - this cooks for a minute, I believe? And then it cooks it.
[He closes the door and successfully starts the microwave. It sure is spinning. The cooking is much less visible, but that's probably happening too?]
no subject
It's spinning! [She touches the outside of the microwave, expecting it to be hot.] It's cold. Is it only hot on the inside?
