WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

I think different kinds look a little different, but I don't really know about that... Yuuko knows all about that stuff, but food is food.

Food isn't just food! Look at sandwiches! You can dress them up in so many ways. With meat, without, tons of vegetables, none... now I want a sandwich.

Yuuko really loves food. Like, really loves it. She saves her allowance all year long so that she can eat whatever she wants at one festival every year.

They must have really good food if she does that.

They've got tons! Even things you don't see a lot in Pikarigaoka usually, like churros!

Pika-what? Churros?

Pikarigaoka is the town I live in! I had to leave the Blue Sky Kingdom for a while, so I moved into the embassy. I still live there now, even though everything is fine back home again. My mother was a little disappointed that I wasn't going back home, but I will eventually, and I visit all the time!

Pikakaraoke... is a pretty unique town name.

[Note to self: learn how to say it correctly?]

When the Phantom Empire attacked the Blue Sky Kingdom, I got out, but they were trapped inside mirrors. For almost a year.

[She looks over at Anna and fidgets.]

Is it like that for you?

[She shakes her head, looking down at her hands.]

No. My parents passed away.

[Hime wrings her own hands and looks down.]

I'm sorry. I don't even know how terrible that has to be.

It was a few years ago. I still miss them, but I can't really just hide away because of that, right?

[Anna drops her voice, folding her hands together, singing a soft song.]

Sorry... I didn't meant to make everything sound so sad.

You don't have to apologize for that! Isn't that what friends are supposed to do?

[Hime, if only you knew that you are pretty much one of her very first friends.]

I'm an expert! I have one, two... maybe thirty-nine friends! Plus you! So forty! And maybe some of the other people in here, but I haven't asked if we are!

Wow... do you think I could become friends with the people here as well?

It's a little scary, but I know you can! Most of them seem really nice so far.

So I just go up to them and tell them they are my friend?

It worked with Megumi... But that's a little scary, so maybe if you just let things go as they do.
