week 1
[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.
The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.
If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.
Enjoy your week, everyone.]
[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]

[Hime scrunches up her face and begins to sing.]
If you say "Let's eat" and end with "Thanks for the food"
Those are passwords that unlock for you a smiling mood
For happiness at mealtime makes your day just as happy
Freshly-steamed rice with an egg on top is what I'd like
Wonderful home-cooked meals top the list no matter what
Even if all you get is rice with nothing on the side, that's okay
Because what matters more
Is the smile that all home cooks adore
Rice is here for you
All our dreams are like heaping bowls of good, warm rice
Everyone, take a seat at the table
You'll be feeling as good as new
It's the backbone of meals with energetic love
Ah, fill your heart up with delicious rice
Ah, fill your heart up with delicious rice

No wonder it got stuck in your head! It's so cute and catchy... but what's rice?

[Hime digs in and pulls out... a small box.]
Huh? Aren't they supposed to be in huge bags?

[Anna takes the box and reads the directions.]
Can we make it?

[Note to self: learn how to say it correctly?]
That's nice of you. I'm sure she's happy about that.

[She looks over at Anna and fidgets.]
Is it like that for you?
no subject
No. My parents passed away.

I'm sorry. I don't even know how terrible that has to be.
