Week Six
[Last week, in It's Curtains, the weather changed, and with it your fortune in Dads. Discord took Salieri out - or perhaps Salieri took Discord out - and left the survivors with that much less impulse control. Nonetheless, a visit from a new friend might have provided a little bit of much-needed hope?
On Sunday morning, you'll find that the other side of the second floor has opened up - as well as the actual intended path to reach the roof garden. You can finally stop climbing up that rope every time you want to have a picnic or secret lover's rendezvous!
Outside, the weather seems to have calmed down. It's sunny again, with rather a lot of clouds. Though it's warm, the atmosphere seems very...still.]

Shut up. [She’s talking to someone who isn’t there. Every so often, she’ll shiver, and pull the blankets closer. But mostly she just sulks.
At least she’s allowed guests. But her head still hurts, and she wants to sleep, but can’t, and is extremely grumpy.]

Room service! [Bruiser darts in the room before the door closes and hops up on the bed next to Farrah.]

[Farrah glances up at Elle, but—- no offense, Elle, the real smile here is for Bruiser, who she’s willing to wriggle out of the blankets to pet.]
Hi, buddy. I heard you helped everyone find me, today. [She still hasn’t decided if it’s a good thing or not, but she’ll give Bruiser a good ear rub as a reward.]

Afternoon
But he hasn't been able to sit down with her and face her, until he himself calmed down, so that he didn't accidentally turn his worry into anger and wind up lashing out. And stopped seeing things that weren't there, for the time being.
So when he comes in to see her again, it's around lunchtime, after they've both had some time to calm down. He's carrying one of the cafeteria trays, and he moves to sit on the bed next to her, setting it down on the nightstand and reaching out to stroke her head through her blanket hood.]

While he will spend most of the day resting while cuddling gary, he'll still be up for chatting, and even if no one's there you can sometimes find him laughing and chatting with seemingly nobody.]
Geez, Mr. Salieri. I know I scared you but you don't have to worry about me that much.
[Well the visions seem happier at least?
Later in the evening, you'll find Spongebob in the kitchen baking despite his still really large injuries and being down to only one arm. He seems pretty insistent on doing it if anyone bugs him about it.
The end result is a cake, big enough to feed all 12 of them. It's a simple sponge cake with vanilla frosting, and a sloppy message written on it.]
Kitchen
[ Orpheus hovers a bit awkwardly at the door, watching Spongebob bustle about with his arm in a sling. ]
Do you... need help with that?
[ He's doing impressively well all things considered, but there's a lot of things to consider, and Orpheus doesn't like the idea of him putting himself through so much trouble after what happened earlier. ]

I'm okay, mom. I'm okay. You don't have to - you don't have to worry about me. I know you're busy. It's okay.
[ By the time he recovers, there's a whole lot of screaming and crashing and honking coming from outside, so. There's that to deal with. That sure does take some time, and once it's sorted out it's already well into the afternoon. He heads off to the art room in a hurry, taking up his task from yesterday and folding yet more paper flowers. He's gotten fairly quick at it, but he needs a lot of them for what he's planning, and by the time that's done the afternoon is starting to turn to evening. By rights he should probably go to bed and get what rest he can, but he has other ideas, and sneaks out to the woods, where he finds a nice secluded spot and begins to sing, high and clear. ]
And if the world came tumbling down
I never could forgive myself for leaving out
You're the one
You are the only one
in the woods somewhere
For a few weeks now the woods have been so quiet. No birds singing, no ambient noises of small animals speeding through the grass. Only a light breeze now and again save for the storms that raged last week. All is still, all is quiet. You are alone.
Until the rustling in the underbrush starts.]

CW: hallucinations, parental neglect in the first prompt
After that humongous mess of a morning, with Spongebob and Farrah squared away to receive the help they deserve, Cassandra finds the mental energy to go her own way. Firstly, to the storage upstairs. Because after much trial and error, her efforts have finally, finally borne fruit: she's figured out how to use the laundry machines.
She's busy loading in a basket of dirty clothes, her gaze turned downwards, screwing tightly. Her expression locked in a tight-lipped frown.]
I know! I'm... I'm working on it, okay? I'll get it right.
[She appears to be arguing with... nobody.
Later, it's a trek down to the concession stand to trade off her latest batch of coins. The results aren't wild, but sorting it all out gives her something to do with her hands.
She throws on that modified jacket. It fits surprisingly well; as she sees when she steps back to admire the patches along the arms... and she starts patting at her hand. Then the sleeve, up to the elbow, and then her shoulder.
And then Cass starts screaming.
Anyone who happens to be feeling particularly under the strain of this weeks motive might happen to see Cassandra's arm wreathed in unnatural blue flames she's desperately attempting to put out.]
Concession Stand
Elsa's panic lances through any fog in her brain, her senses lighting up with absolute clarity, and her feet are moving before she even fully registers what's going on, running towards her new girlfriend.]
Cass! What's wrong?!
