[Last week, in It's Curtains, the weather changed, and with it your fortune in Dads. Discord took Salieri out - or perhaps Salieri took Discord out - and left the survivors with that much less impulse control. Nonetheless, a visit from a new friend might have provided a little bit of much-needed hope?

On Sunday morning, you'll find that the other side of the second floor has opened up - as well as the actual intended path to reach the roof garden. You can finally stop climbing up that rope every time you want to have a picnic or secret lover's rendezvous!

Outside, the weather seems to have calmed down. It's sunny again, with rather a lot of clouds. Though it's warm, the atmosphere seems very...still.]

[He also twists the steering wheel.

With their combined force, the steering wheel turns really far. More than they would need to just to steer out of the way]

[Luckily between both their efforts and Elle grabbing him and pulling him back, Benjamin is missed completely by the car.

When it starts to go out of control, however, he lets out an anguished scream.]

[When Spongebob twists the steering wheel, the car jerks abruptly to the side and careens straight into the forest tree line. There's a horrid crunch of metal against wood, the whoosh of airbags inflating and then, after a beat, a long drawn out scream of the horn.]

[And he's off running toward the crash, yelling for them.]

Farrah! Spongebob!

[The animals are safe, but all this happens so quickly that Angus forgets to react for a second.

Farrah and Spongebob.

He turns and runs for the car.]

Spongebob! Farrah! [They have to be okay! They have to be okay and patched up! They can't die, not after everything!]

But she's screaming. Angus runs up, praying that she is only frightened and not injured at all. That neither of them are hurt.]

[Spongebob, meanwhile, is silent, deathly still. His head resting on the airbag.]

[Well this is. Something of a kerfuffle to wake up to. She'd only been dimly aware of the commotion outside of her door, and had been slow to follow the others. She makes it out just in time to hear the crunching of metal. It doesn't matter who it is -- Maya's flying toward the wreckage, barefoot and in a nightgown.

She stops short, however, when she sees who's at the wheel.]

No. No, no, no.

[Benjamin is not a doctor. He's not even from the era when barbers were still marginally trained in surgery.

He hears Farrah screaming, sees Angus going to her side of the car, and as much as he wants to be there for her he's the first one at the other side.

So he wrenches the driver's side door open.]

Oh, God--

[Benjamin's blood freezes, his motions jerky as he reaches out, stops short, then reaches out again and makes contact, nudging his shoulder.]

Stay with me, boy. Come on. You're alright.
