Week Six
[Last week, in It's Curtains, the weather changed, and with it your fortune in Dads. Discord took Salieri out - or perhaps Salieri took Discord out - and left the survivors with that much less impulse control. Nonetheless, a visit from a new friend might have provided a little bit of much-needed hope?
On Sunday morning, you'll find that the other side of the second floor has opened up - as well as the actual intended path to reach the roof garden. You can finally stop climbing up that rope every time you want to have a picnic or secret lover's rendezvous!
Outside, the weather seems to have calmed down. It's sunny again, with rather a lot of clouds. Though it's warm, the atmosphere seems very...still.]

But this boy, who's been so broken down by everything that's happened here, has been through enough today. So Benjamin purses his lips into a smile, and pats his knee reassuringly.]
She's alright. Angus, Orpheus, and Elle were seeing to her, last I saw. I think she got off a little better than you did. We should take a look at that arm, hm?
[Gingerly, he takes Spongebob's wrist and looks at his injured arm. How bad are we talking?]

[He can't finish, but he should get a good idea as to how that ends.]
He winces even more at the touch. It looks pretty bad, particularly around his forearm. It looks like one of the bones snapped upon impact.]
I really don't know why it hurts so much. Usually my arms can't bounce right back.

[Benjamin keeps his touch gentle, and doesn't move it much at all, then frowns and sets the arm gently back in Spongebob's lap.]
It looks like it's badly broken, lad. You're lucky the both of you got off that lightly.
[He rises to his feet and turns to Maya, with whom he keeps his tone as light as he can, to keep her calm as well.]
Maya, do you happen to know if Miss Wells can set a broken arm?

But with the attention being drawn to her, well... She can't simply sit still.]
I believe she can, yes. Would you like for me to fetch her?
no subject
[But...before she goes, he catches her, gently, and pulls her into a hug.]
It's alright. They'll be alright.

Don't mind her hiding a few stray tears against his shoulder, so that when she pulls back she looks completely put together. It's fine, she's fine.]
Thank you, Otousan.
[And away she goes.]

"I was already gone."
She's going to scream. What does she have to do to keep them from leaving her?
She just stares blankly at the buffet serving, not putting anything on her plate. ]

Peregrine -- Per -- [She's tugging on Peregrine's sleeve, almost like a scared child.]
I need your help. Spongebob needs your help.

But that softens, almost immediately. ] You guys were checking- is he really hurt?
no subject
Can you -- do you know how to set and splint a broken limb?
no subject
Yeah. Yeah, I definitely can. You brought him to the nurse's office?
no subject
Barker-san did. But he asked me to fetch you -- he thought you would be the best source.
no subject
[ Follow her, Maya! It's not a very long walk, so they're back to the nurse's office fast. ]
