[It's Sunday night! Boy, today sure has been a day, hasn't it?? Memories returned, Father's Day Gifts given, and Benjamin sure had a Time, didn't he?

Looks like it's time to find ways to cope.

Thus, the bed frames from Broadhurst dorm are being worked on being taken apart by Varian while the mattresses are becoming The New Floor.

Additionally, there's plenty to eat and drink, what with the hot pot provided by Rina, cookies that might just taste a bit burnt from Farrah, apples from Orpheus, more delicious potatoes from Maya, as well as sandwiches by Cassandra. There is also quite the variety of pie, from caramel, to bittersweet chocolate and strawberries, and several other varieties from the vending machine. Finally, there's popcorn brought in by Spongebob. If someone wants a drink, there is some delicious hot cocoa, provided by Elsa, as well as the tea brought in by Discord. There's also a variety of drinks from the vending machines.

Everyone's invited of course. There are a variety of games happening, and there's even a TV that's been wheeled down from the Library. So bring your pajamas, whatever they happen to be, and settle in for a sleepover!]

[Speaking of games!

So with a little work, Discord has acquired a few things. He's laying some of it out now, just, out on the floor where there's a gap between mattresses. There's a book with a red cover propped up, graph paper and some hastily put together sheets strewn about, some pencils, and even dice.

Yes, this is happening.]

Now then, who's up for a game?

Discord's also going to be making tea through all of this, because this is just... this is just what he does, now, he's accepted this. He's in too deep, okay.]

[It's really hard to Wallflower in your own room, but boy howdy is Maya trying. She has herself pressed up against a wall, nearest to where her own bed normally was. It isn't that she opposes this party, far from it, in fact. It's just that... she doesn't know what she's supposed to do. Preparation is one thing but... Now that the food is ready and she's changed into her nightgown, she doesn't really know what to do?]

[Elle arrives with a basket of nail polish and one very chill chihuahua. Bruiser will be making the rounds, climbing into people's laps, trying to steal snacks from unsuspecting people.

Elle's nails are still a lovely pink from Spongebob's party on Thursday, but she is currently working on getting her toes to match.]

You want your nails done? I have, like, every color.

[Benjamin does not attend the party of his own volition, but he can be easily found in Ambassador, for anyone worried enough to go looking for him, where he has been all evening since his incident earlier that afternoon.

Specifically, he's moved out of bed, though he's stayed wrapped in a blanket. He's sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall shared with Broadhurst.]

[In a bit of a twist, an unexpected visitor peaks her head into Broadhurst for the first time. It turns out when Salieri said everyone was invited he meant everyone.

So here's Hester, dressed in a vibrant pink pajama set covered in little hearts with her hair pulled into a pair of braids. She's got a desk of cards in one hand, a plate of sugar cookies in the other, a little black make-up case under one arm and boy, does she look nervous to be even be existing right now.]

Um...hi?

[Well, Cassandra's here. Along with a plate of the same grilled sandwiches she made in the first meeting. They're pretty good! She's probably getting the hang of using the modern stove.

She plops herself down, cross-legged, on one of the mattresses. Her snowgie trudges up to her and shimmies his way into her lap. No stopping him. He's determined, like his mom.]

...So.

[Sleepover! Okay! Rapunzel has done these. For once, it's not her first rodeo.]

Who wants to play Truth or Dare?

[And later still, once the game's settled, Cassandra's moved away from the main area of the sleepover to sit back against a wall and thoughtfully sip her hot cocoa.]

[The Balladeer seems unusually quiet tonight, but he's here nonetheless! Frankly, just being around everyone else seems to be doing a fair bit to cheer him up. A lot of his time here is spent scarfing down food - did he eat anything today? It's possible he skipped breakfast and then got lost outside most of the rest of the day. Rip.

At some point, he perks up enough to start playing a little on the harmonica. If anyone seems interested, he'll pause and offer:]

Anyone want to learn how to play the harmonica? I have like five or six of these.

[ Orpheus sure has brought a lot of gods damned apples. Dried apples, baked apples, some leftover apple pie that Connor made, fresh apples, apple leather. Just so many of those. He sets them down on the table and picks out a shining red apple for himself before going to sit in the corner next to Eurydice, half-clinging to her like he's worried she'll disappear if he lets go. That's where he spends most of the evening, staring off into space.

He does eventually relax a little, though, and pulls out the guitar he's stolen from the band room, which he starts to play idly, looking a little more focused and less dead inside as he does so. You might even catch him smiling a little, as he plays the more complicated bits. ]

[ Peregrine's...here. She doesn't look to be engaging with much, but she's here. Someone probably had to convince her, but she doesn't really protest. Mostly, she just watches. She finds a certain extra mattress from one of their lost friends in Broadhurst, and she claims as many extra blankets as she can, and she curls up in them.

Still, occasionally, she shivers. It's not that she's cold. She just can't feel warm.

The most Peregrine indulges in the party is with the food, so feel free to find her trying a little bit of everything! ]

Locked to Farrah and Salieri

[At some point during the sleepover- much later, but not so late that everyone is asleep yet- Varian will carefully pull away from the others for a bit. It isn't very long at all though, and when he returns he has Farrah with him and something between his hands wrapped up in a bit of colored cloth he pilfered from the costume room. It's not even like...wrapped, it's just covered, but why that is will make sense with time.

He approaches Salieri where he's ended up, murmuring just loud enough so he can be heard over the chatter around them.]

Salieri, do you have a minute? I uh- I want to show you something.

[Not here, though. He's indicating with his body language he'd prefer if they could step out briefly, maybe into the nearby hall or even the remains of Broadhurst, just somewhere more private.]
