[It's Sunday night! Boy, today sure has been a day, hasn't it?? Memories returned, Father's Day Gifts given, and Benjamin sure had a Time, didn't he?

Looks like it's time to find ways to cope.

Thus, the bed frames from Broadhurst dorm are being worked on being taken apart by Varian while the mattresses are becoming The New Floor.

Additionally, there's plenty to eat and drink, what with the hot pot provided by Rina, cookies that might just taste a bit burnt from Farrah, apples from Orpheus, more delicious potatoes from Maya, as well as sandwiches by Cassandra. There is also quite the variety of pie, from caramel, to bittersweet chocolate and strawberries, and several other varieties from the vending machine. Finally, there's popcorn brought in by Spongebob. If someone wants a drink, there is some delicious hot cocoa, provided by Elsa, as well as the tea brought in by Discord. There's also a variety of drinks from the vending machines.

Everyone's invited of course. There are a variety of games happening, and there's even a TV that's been wheeled down from the Library. So bring your pajamas, whatever they happen to be, and settle in for a sleepover!]

[ Foster sisters? That's...hm. Distantly, Eurydice wonders how long Hester has had to hold her own.

Eurydice hesitates, staring at Hester and trying to see if she can find any ill intent. There doesn't seem to be any, so Eurydice brusquely thrusts her left hand forward. It's a little awkward, but it's also an olive branch. ]

Both! I also have silver and purple and yellow- I pretty much brought my whole collection. [She caps the pink and takes Eurydice's extended hand, skillfully trapping a bottle of black in the crook of her leg and unscrewing the cap with her free hand.] Any other preferences?

[ oh no she's so cute not even Eurydice has it in her to dampen that excitement ]

Uh...how about all black, except for one yellow nail on each hand? You can pick which one gets to be yellow. Artistic liberties and all that.

I can do that! [Oh so carefully she starts to paint, starting with her thumb.] Any particular reason for the yellow?

[ Eurydice relaxes a little, and even though she's still not super talkative, she is...kind of having a nice time. Huh. ]

My favorite scarf was that color. It reminds me of the sun, I guess? Winters are really long, where I'm from, and it can get really dark, so... [ she shrugs. ] ...sometimes I miss it.

[Hester nods along while she talks, listening while she carefully avoids getting polish on the calloused edges around Eurydice's nails.]

Mmhm, I can see that. Yellow is actually my favorite color too.

[ there's callouses all over Eurydice's hands, that Hester might notice, if she's paying attention. They happen to match the grip of a pickaxe perfectly. ]

It just...makes me happy, you know? It makes me think of the sun and flowers- it's just a happy color to me.
