Week One
[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?
Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.
If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]
Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday
(( OOC: This will be the last mod post for this week! Feel free to start submitting regains for any threads that aren't with Hester. Remember, song threads mean an extra coin! This is a peace week, so get all that CR while you can! ))

Peregrine can be found in the following places trying to scribble down what supplies she finds: the kitchen, the weight room, concessions, the scene shop, and the costume shop. This process takes largely the whole day, as there's a lot of room to cover, but she's determined. She's mostly muttering to herself throughout the process, wondering what could be useful? occasionally, or something along those lines.
She stays particularly long in the scene shop, examining the various power tools. She pauses when she gets to the mechanical lift, snorting. ]
That's a safety hazard.
[ ...And then continuing to like, sort drills or whatnot.
Later at night, she can be found in the gym. You'll probably hear her before you see her, because with the acoustics her heavy breathing echoes, as she runs up and down the bleachers, pausing only to touch both the floor and the top of the wall. You may also find her in the midst of a whole-ass routine, going from squats to bench step-ups to bench triceps dips. She doesn't seem, at any point, to be willing or ready to stop. ]
Scene Shop
[Comes Varian's voice from across the way where he's actually rummaging through some of the other tools. Not the more heavy-duty stuff, but what he's more used to- hammers, wrenches, things like that.]
But I guess the only more obvious way to point out that rule- [She knows the one.] -would be to stock the place with actual, you know. Weapons.
no subject
I know why it's here. If that assistant director isn't going to give us any help, then I'm at least gonna take note of things that we'll need to safety-proof.
no subject
[It's not a bad idea. But that also leaves the issue of who they would actually put in charge of that...and how much do they all trust each other, really?]

gym
[He's leaning against the wall near the bleachers. Once he's out of the uniform it's clear he's more muscular than you might assume but also not. A runner.]
no subject
What... Not a fan of a rigorous workout? [ Similarly, Peregrine's forgone her uniform for more workout-friendly clothing. Her hair's pulled back in a messy ponytail, but stray strands stick to her forehead with sweat. Despite looking like she's done this for quite awhile, she doesn't seem like she's worn down. ] Just so you know... It's only 'cause I was done with that rep that I'm breaking.
no subject
[Strictly speaking, he would be a good runner if he actually enjoyed it. Unfortunately, he hates running and also any and all bleacher exercises. Awful.]

The gym
Elle's a morning workout kinda gal, but she can appreciate hustle in any form.]
Hell yeah! You're awesome at this!
no subject
Just...a normal workout... I do stuff like this all the time.
no subject
[For what it's worth, Elle does seem genuinely impressed.]
no subject
[ Okay, running in place isn't feasible anymore.
She's switching to squats. ]

Kitchen
Except sandwiches! Sandwiches are easy, right? Just slap some meat, cheese, and condiments on some bread and voila! Too bad hers looks... a little messy. But she seem proud of it, and she's just about done putting the top bread slice onto the pile of ham and cheese when she spots Peregrine puttering around, writing something down. Curious, she speaks up.]
Is there anything I can do to help?
no subject
No. ...I don't think so, at least. Two people taking inventory could just get messy.
no subject
Inventory? What for? [...] Do you really think whoever did this is going to just... leave us to starve?
no subject
[ Peregrine should probably sound more worried than she does. Instead, she just sounds like she's focused, determined. ]
I wanna know everything about this place, including whatever's here and how much of it. That's how we're gonna get out.

Scene Shop
[Which - he does not. But there's only so many places to be in this school, and the Balladeer is starting to get sort of bored and restless.]
It's probably just for lights.
no subject
At least most people’ve probably seen the power tools.
no subject
[He sort of...it feels bad, how little he knows compared to everyone else. He never felt weird about what he was, before. It was his show, after all; he belonged there. This...]
No real reason for me to use these anyway, though.
no subject
...'Cause of the whole...narrator thing?
[ Ahhh, that's where the discomfort's coming from. ]

gym
What brings her here now is just that; a desire for something physical. So, she ventures into the gym, only to find she isn't alone. Cassandra spends about a minute watching Peregrine go from squats to bench step-ups. Curious; admiring.]
You look like you've done this before.
no subject
Only every day for the last...year or so.
no subject
[She nods before breaking off to wander to the middle of the room. Somehow, despite the uniforms they all wear, she looks foreign in this place.]
Heck of a room... right? It's as big as a throne room, and it's used for... [gestures] this.
