[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?

Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.

If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]

Well, I can’t imagine sleeping laying down is all that comfortable either. [Seals do it, but they like. They don’t have legs, is the thing.] Don’t you get all...ache-y?

Ah, no, not usually. Granted, these are a little smaller than I'm used to, so perhaps a little bit.

Though I could have asked you the same thing about standing up all night.

You mean...ah, well, nothing eats humans. Except for cannibals but such a thing is considered very taboo and inhuman.

Hm? Oh, well, a variety of things. Meat, fish, fruit and vegetable dishes in combination, mostly.

[Well, he's appealing to everyone's better nature so far. So maybe he needn't worry about being eaten so bad.]

You guys really need to eat all that much? We just get by fine on fish.

Well, we don't eat it all at once, and it's portioned. But to keep the body's humors healthy, it is recommended to eat a balanced diet of vegetables and fruit, and alternating meat and fish.

Ah...that is to say, the idea that there are specific things needed to keep the body in balance, and a varied diet is one of them.

Oh, I see. In balance. [That's a concept that makes sense.] We just eat and try not to get eaten. It's a lot less complicated.

Ah, no. Not that I'm aware. Mostly cow, boar, sheep and some types of fowl.
