week 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.
When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.
But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?
Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

She's singing, and anyone who wants to is free to join her!]
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na
I guess I just lost my fiancé
I don't care where he's gone
So I'm gonna drink my tea now
I'm not gonna dwell for long (nope)
I got a brand new attitude
And I'm gonna wear it tonight
I'm not gonna get in trouble
I'm not gonna start a fight
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na
I'm not gonna start a fight
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na
I'm not gonna start a fight!
So, so what?
I'm still a princess
I got my best moves
And I don't need Hans
And guess what?
I'm havin' more fun
And now that we're done
I'm gonna show him tonight
I'm alright, I'm just fine
And Hans' a tool
So, so what?
I am a princess
I got my best moves
And I don't want him tonight
[After her little song party, Anna will be in the kitchen, trying to make some of that five minute rice on her own, or a sandwich. Whichever one is easier.]

Someone seems better than yesterday.
no subject
Yeah! You helped a lot, and so did everyone else.
[She suddenly looks serious.]
Plus, I got to punch Hans.

[Life was so much easier with the Cook and Chef PreCards.
Later, she'll be in the costume room, still sorting through clothes. Come on, Hime, haven't you got enough of those?
By the end of the day, Hime has gotten so bored that she's in the first floor lobby setting the decorative spiders up on the piano. Look, that one has a little pitchfork made out of toothpicks and a hat that's a scrap of fabric. It must be a farmer for all the cows upstairs. Aww.]

Hello!

Hello, how did you get in here?

[pouts. Fine then.]
The fake spiders? They're part of the Halloween decorations! I made this one a farmer, since there are all those cows in the prop room. And this one--
[She picks up another... which appears to be broken, as one of its legs snaps off.]
Noooooooo! --I mean, this one's someone who lost an arm in a fight! Or, or something!

[...he's still not pronouncing that right, but hello!! The Pirate King just sort of marches in like he owns the place, but of course he stops to greet her.]
What are you looking for this time?

So finally today, Hans can be found in the library in the morning, looking up books on, wouldn't you know it, Hallow's Eve. The Balladeer said this week was supposed to be Halloween, right? Books on witches and saints and the rest lay stacked in a pile while Hans searches. He's planning something, that's for sure, but what?
Later in the day, Hans can be found in the costume shop, inspecting several more outlandish costumes. (Feel free to provide your own.) Maybe he'll dress up as a demon for Halloween? Or would that be insulting to Jezebel? Hmm... You know, for a guy who's about to get his reputation ruined, he's doing pretty ok. Everything is going according to plan! For now. ]

Oh, um, actually I'm hoping to find out more about Hallow's Eve. The Balladeer said it was on Monday, so I'm hoping one these books will have something about it...

While looking through the clothes, though, her hand brushes past a dress - silk, tea length, dark blue. It isn't the same one she remembers, but the similarity gives her pause all the same. She pulls it out to look at it for a moment, a rare smile coming across her face as she hums a few bars of a tune.
As soon as she realizes she isn't alone, though, she fumbles to put the dress back on the rack, clearly a bit embarrassed to be seen in that moment of tenderness.]
Didn't see you there! Wow. Hi there.
no subject
Yeah, well. I'm short.
[Darla does come a little closer, eyeing the dress.]
You should take it if you like it.

After the ordeal of getting the tray upstairs, she's in the tea room, snacking away and stiring a cup. There's still plenty of snacks left, and if she spots someone she just raised an eyebrow. You gonna come sit or no?]
