WEEK 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.

When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.

But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?

Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

The fake spiders? They're part of the Halloween decorations! I made this one a farmer, since there are all those cows in the prop room. And this one--

[She picks up another... which appears to be broken, as one of its legs snaps off.]

Noooooooo! --I mean, this one's someone who lost an arm in a fight! Or, or something!

Oh...Hime? I didn't see you there.

[Fake? All fake. All fake. Aaah- Her eyes widen as she sees the broken spider.]

Oh no...! He's hurt!

Do we have any glue? I think there's tape in my room!

[solomonjihad]

I--I'll keep him safe then, while you get that!

[She cradles the fake spider in her hands as gently as possible. Poor spider D:]

[rockthistown]

[Hime RUNS to her room and comes back with a roll of gaf tape.]

I keep getting this stuff out of the machine! Will it do?

[solomonjihad]

Yes! This...this will work...

[She gets a small piece, and starts to wrap the tape around the uper part of the leg still attached to the spider, before attaching the rest.]

Hang on...!

[Hesitantly, she smiles a little at the spider.] They actually sort of look cute once you get used to them.

[solomonjihad]

Aren't they?

[Smile. Ok, the spider will be ok! ...is it even real?...]

Most of them are harmless...

[rockthistown]

Really? Then why is everyone scared of them?

[solomonjihad]

Because they're not human.

[Gently putting the spider back on his proper little ledge. You are healed, little spider! Be free!

People aren't scared of everything that's not human. Usually. Some people in here have something against fairies, though.

[solomonjihad]

Fairies? Why?

[rockthistown]

I have no idea! We had fairies in the Blue Sky Kingdom, and they were just like anyone.

[solomonjihad]

...Maybe they're Undead and that's why. Or...something like that.

[Different timeline thing is a...thing.]

[rockthistown]

Uh... What is an Undead to you, actually? Something like a monster, or a fairy?

[solomonjihad]

...All the monsters in the world. They're Undead. Vampires, werewolves, ghouls...if its not human, and its supernatural, its Undead.

[rockthistown]

And those all exist in your world?

[solomonjihad]

All of them do, yes.

[rockthistown]

I don't know if that's scary or interesting. We have monsters and things, too, but it's not the same.

[solomonjihad]

Why is it different for you?

[A pause.]

Is it because you fight them?

[rockthistown]

I thought Natalie wasn't going to tell anyone!

[yup]

[solomonjihad]

[There's a small smile on her face.]

No, she didn't say anything. In my world, only two types of people know of magical girls and their true activities. The magical girls...and their enemies.

The things you'd said, earlier...it made sense, that you might be a magical girl, right?

But-- but everyone at home knows about magical girls! People see them all the time and get saved by them! There's a segment on the news every week!

[solomonjihad]

...You also just admitted you're a magical girl.

[Sailor Moon verse is usually a tad more secretive, with people just making merchandise of them because they can.]
