week 1
[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.
The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.
If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.
Enjoy your week, everyone.]
[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]

[in her opinion, at least]
How long have you been playing?
no subject
[She smiles because does D-ne do anything else, ever]
I've been playing for, ah...a few years now? It's just an idle hobby.

I mean, if you don't want to, you can say so. It's cool.

Why didn't you tell them?
no subject
We're not... my parents aren't bad. They try. We just... I'm not very close to them...and it really is just...something I do every so often. Not something that seems worth talking to them about.
no subject
[but that's all she'll really say about it, since parents are a touchy subject for her too and she wouldn't like it if someone pried]
So. Music room?
no subject
D-ne smiles and nods.]
Music room it is.

Alright... Ah, let me see.
[She sits at the piano and starts to play, pressing each key gently.]
no subject
Oh, yeah, you're horrible. Absolutely the worst.
no subject
You...think I have talent? Ah... Thank you.
[seems she speaks sarcasm]

[tsun harder natalie]

...Thank you.
[like she doesn't know how to deal with someone telling her she's good at something but all the same]
no subject
What made you want to learn how to play?
no subject
[She stands.]
I think...many refined people liked to play, so I thought if I learned...it would be something interesting to do!
[that's how you say "i thought it'd make me more likable and less dead inside" in polite conversation right???]
