WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

[Jezebel likes the idea of the costume shop a lot, actually! She's going to spend a lot of time going through it, finding a lot of purple things that fit her and checking through them. Specifically purple. Girl has a color. But there's a particular focus on warmer stuff, because like... it's a little cooler here than she's used to!

Or later, she can be found in the kitchen, taking ingredients out and sort of... staring at them. It's not that she can't eat, of course, or even that she doesn't need to, but she hasn't prepared her own food before and even then it's been... Hell Food. Which sometimes isn't different except it glows a little, but. It might look weird, to a bystander.]

Do you cook a lot? I only started a little while ago because my friend says it's important, and even then, I only really get the basics.

[cake, tamagoyaki, more cake. she doesn't have the cook precard with her, okay.]

Not at all, actually. Definitely not with Earth ingredients.

You must have really different things at home. Maybe, um... M-maybe we, uh, unless you don't want to... [She gestures to the ingredients and the stove.]

You... want to try cooking together?

Yes! [Her voice squeaks.] How about something simple like tamagoyaki? I know how to make that!

Alright! Show me and I'll follow your lead.

[Hime takes a deep breath and starts taking things out.] Okay, so she uses eggs, soya sauce, sugar... Wait, do we have the right pan?

[She can start trying to find that!]

Maybe? There are a lot of pans here, what am I looking for?

A tamagoyaki pan is usually a rectangle. It would look really weird in a round one.

A rectangular pan, huh? Hmm...

[WE WILL ASSUME, FOR SAKE OF ARGUMENT, THAT SUCH A PAN EXISTS HERE or at least something that would work for our poor animes]

Right. So first you beat some eggs in a bowl with chopsticks or a fork. Or I guess whatever we have here. I forget how many eggs you need, but it was, like, four or five...
