week 1
[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.
The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.
If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.
Enjoy your week, everyone.]
[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]

[Really. Don' assume she knows half of these terms you're throwing around.]

You know, you put it on your skin and it helps stop your bleeding.

[Anna starts opening the cupboards.]
What does it look like?
no subject
["Dressing"...?]
If they're anywhere, they would probably be in the Storage Room
no subject
Maybe. I'll keep- [She pulls a small box out.] First aid kit?
no subject
[Well now he feels kind of silly.]
no subject
Burn ointment? Anti-bacterial cream? What is this stuff?
no subject
[Great observation there.
He gets up and looks at the first aid kit too.]
I'm sure there in here somewhere - oh there they are.
[He grabs at the thin pieces of paper in the kit. Well, he definitely hasn't been lying about the cuts, but they don't seem like bad cuts.]
no subject
She looks at the strips curiously.]
That's so tiny! You sure that can cover the cuts on your fingers?
no subject
He starts unwrapping the bandages and putting them on his cuts.]
Yeah, I'll probably need a few of them, but I'm not going to die.
no subject
That's all you need to do? How do they stay on?
no subject
You know, they're sticky on one side.
[.... Offers a band aid for her to test out?]
no subject
[She takes it and does what he did. Then she gasps as the band aid sticks to her fingers.]
It's sticking!
no subject
I don't know how I could live without these. I practically need band aids every day without how much I hurt myself.
[Okay he's done bandaging himself.]
So, um, did you still want those avocados?
no subject
[Very clumsy. It's a surprise she's made it this far in life.
She nods enthusiastically.]
Of course!
no subject
Seymour takes a fresh avocado and cuts it in half. He's just going to... carefully not use the half that has the pit in it. He's been cut enough times today.]
Um, do you want to try it first?
no subject
It's soft! [Carefully she tries not to squish it too much, eating the soft green meat before wrinkling her nose.] That tastes awful...
no subject
... At least we shouldn't stay here so long that they start bearing fruit?
no subject
I hope so. Else we'll have a bunch of these and no one eating them.
