WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

[She takes it and does what he did. Then she gasps as the band aid sticks to her fingers.]

It's sticking!

[Okay that actually gets a small laugh out of him. It's amazing that anyone could be fascinated by something like band aids.]

I don't know how I could live without these. I practically need band aids every day without how much I hurt myself.

[Okay he's done bandaging himself.]

So, um, did you still want those avocados?

I think I'd be covered in these back home.

[Very clumsy. It's a surprise she's made it this far in life.

She nods enthusiastically.]

[It's a miracle, really.

Seymour takes a fresh avocado and cuts it in half. He's just going to... carefully not use the half that has the pit in it. He's been cut enough times today.]

Um, do you want to try it first?

[Anna watches him cut it, amazed at the green color inside of the fruit. She nods and takes a piece, squeaking when it squishes in her fingers.]

It's soft! [Carefully she tries not to squish it too much, eating the soft green meat before wrinkling her nose.] That tastes awful...

[Seymour takes a bite of his own and yeah, this is actually really disappointed.]

... At least we shouldn't stay here so long that they start bearing fruit?

[Now Anna is glad these don't grow where she's from.]

I hope so. Else we'll have a bunch of these and no one eating them.

If we're here long enough for that to happen, I think we have more to worry about than a lot of avocados. It will take awhile just to get these guys ready to plant.

Where would we even plant them? There's not dirt around here.

I was kinda thinking about asking the Balladeer for some soil once they got big enough to plant.

You think he'll let us make our own garden in this place?

I'm sure he won't be against it? It's not like we can do anything bad with a garden.

Yeah. I doubt he'd give us access to anything that isn't safe. I wish we were here long enough to grow flowers.

I don't know if I wish to be here that long, but being here long enough to do some gardening would be nice.

Can you teach me how to garden? [Pleeaaaaaase?]

Really? I... I would be happy to! [Seriously someone actually wants him to teach them something?]

[She wants to learn everything!] Great! I hope we get a garden then.
