WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

Enjoy your week, everyone.]

[Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday]

[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]

[There is the strange boy, doing strange things again. Winslow should question why Seymour does these things, but after being around him for more than a couple minutes, he doesn't think he should.

Rather he peers into one of the glasses, getting an eyeful of whatever is in there.

Also hi, Seymour.]
dontfeedplants: (And gee my bank account will thrive)

[Says the weird birdman.

Seymour smiles slightly when he sees Winslow.]

Oh hey. Did you want one of those things?

[Oh hey, it's Seymour.

Winslow takes out his clipboard to write: "What's in them?"]
dontfeedplants: (It's not demand and supply)

They're avocado pits in water. I need to put toothpicks in them so that they don't drown.

["Avacadoes? An exotic fruit?"]
dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-14 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay they're technically berries, but they're still pretty interesting!

[He grabs an avocado that he hasn't cut into.]

I don't know too much about them, but they are native to Central and South America. They've been eating them for millenia!

I... actually don't know if I can grow them here with the climate, but it can't hurt to try?
dieformymusic: (Curious chirping)

[He's pretty obsessed with plants huh? Not that he's judging, everyone has a hobby.

"It wouldn't hurt to try. We can have something new.something exotic."]
dontfeedplants: (What am I saying?)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-15 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
Something growing, at least. I don't think I can make it here if there are no plants anywhere.

[If asked, he will claim it's because of the mental benefits of having plants, but really it's just because he's sad.]

["I take you lived in the suburbs."

Winslow don't jump the gun like that.]
dontfeedplants: (They say the meek gonna get it)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-16 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
I wish. I just live in Skid Row.

[Great job Winslow, now you're reminding Seymour how much he wished he lived in the suburbs.]
