WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

Enjoy your week, everyone.]

[Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday]

[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]
rockthistown: (clearly that's a good idea)

[personal profile] rockthistown 2016-10-19 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
It's a little scary, but I know you can! Most of them seem really nice so far.
rockthistown: (so this was a last-minute app idea)

[personal profile] rockthistown 2016-10-19 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think so? But this isn't very hard.

[getting out ingredients la la la]
sunshineprincess: (• Am I so ready for this change)

[personal profile] sunshineprincess 2016-10-19 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
[Now Anna is glad these don't grow where she's from.]

I hope so. Else we'll have a bunch of these and no one eating them.
sunshineprincess: (♣ Finally)

[personal profile] sunshineprincess 2016-10-19 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Blue, red, yellow... it was like starbursts all over the fabric.

[It's colorful. Shhh.

Anna fidgets, smiling somewhat shyly.]

You think so?
sunshineprincess: (♥ Ready to shine)

[personal profile] sunshineprincess 2016-10-19 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
So I just go up to them and tell them they are my friend?
rockthistown: (told you this was weird)

[personal profile] rockthistown 2016-10-19 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
It worked with Megumi... But that's a little scary, so maybe if you just let things go as they do.
robitussin: (for sixteen years?)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-19 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
...Anyways, I guess you probably don't need someone here to freak you out. There's always a chance everyone will chill and we can all just leave after waiting for a while.
robitussin: (and if other daughters)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-19 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
[she pauses.]

I mean, if you don't want to, you can say so. It's cool.
dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-19 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
Just wondering. I'm more towards the east coast so I was wondering if you lived in an area where avocados were more common.

[Washington still feels like a weird place to have avocados, he feels like.]
robitussin: (when i thought you might be dying)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-19 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
Huh.

[she finds the east coast part more interesting than avocados]

What was it like there?
dontfeedplants: (My future's starting)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-19 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
If we're here long enough for that to happen, I think we have more to worry about than a lot of avocados. It will take awhile just to get these guys ready to plant.
lifegoalsorwifegoals: (i've been trying to be where you are)

[personal profile] lifegoalsorwifegoals 2016-10-19 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
...Mm. [She nods.]
dontfeedplants: (It's not demand and supply)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-19 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Broad shrugs.]

I don't have anything interesting to say about it. I've only lived in the Skid Rows of New York my whole life.
lifegoalsorwifegoals: (but you just can't see)

[personal profile] lifegoalsorwifegoals 2016-10-19 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
No, no, it's just... ...no one's ever asked to hear me play before. That's all.
robitussin: (and you graduate early)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-19 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know what skid rows are. Sorry.

But, I mean... You must have something to say about it. I mean, it's New York.
robitussin: (freaking out at the store)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-19 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
...Not even your parents?
breakingbread: (bread dad is sad)

[personal profile] breakingbread 2016-10-19 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
We're acquainted, yes.
breakingbread: (bread dad cannot believe)

[personal profile] breakingbread 2016-10-19 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, most of the machines in there do have the wires...

[He paces over towards the nearest camera, peering up at it.] I don't see any here. But if we could reach it, it looks as though it would be easy to simply snap the arm off, there.

[He points up towards the arm connecting the camera to the wall.]
breakingbread: (bread dad is disappoint)

[personal profile] breakingbread 2016-10-19 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
[Valjean takes a bite of his own half, and...um. Hm. Maybe this is a taste teenagers enjoy.]

And so fast to make, too. A child could do this!
breakingbread: (bread dad looks to god)

[personal profile] breakingbread 2016-10-19 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Quite so! We could paint this whole building - I'm sure they'd appreciate that.

[Paint all over their nice fancy opera house. Yep.]
lifegoalsorwifegoals: (✂ slam shut‚ eyes blank‚ and repeat)

[personal profile] lifegoalsorwifegoals 2016-10-19 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
No, I... I've only played at school. I guess they didn't realize it's something I know how to do.
lifegoalsorwifegoals: (tread too far and you're out of bounds)

[personal profile] lifegoalsorwifegoals 2016-10-19 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
[...]

Does this have something to do with your history as a criminal?

[like
she read your profile my dude]
robitussin: (yeah something next to normal)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-19 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
[a slight pause. she doesn't want to pry, but this is a subject she can't help but be interested in.]

Why didn't you tell them?
trettende: (somos tal para cual)

[personal profile] trettende 2016-10-19 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
How lovely.

[ Really, he sounds very impressed. ]

I do. It was unique and completely "you."
breakingbread: (bread dad cannot believe)

[personal profile] breakingbread 2016-10-19 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
[she is one of the few! but that actually makes this easier]

It does. I couldn't say he has spent his career hunting me, but we have run into each other quite often. [It seems statistically improbable. There's definitely more than one police inspector in France probably] I broke my parole, you see, many years ago.
