WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

Enjoy your week, everyone.]

[Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday]

[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]
robitussin: (when i thought you might be dying)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-19 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
Huh.

[she finds the east coast part more interesting than avocados]

What was it like there?
dontfeedplants: (It's not demand and supply)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-19 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Broad shrugs.]

I don't have anything interesting to say about it. I've only lived in the Skid Rows of New York my whole life.
robitussin: (and you graduate early)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-19 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know what skid rows are. Sorry.

But, I mean... You must have something to say about it. I mean, it's New York.
dontfeedplants: (What am I saying?)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-22 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
Oh sorry, it's kind of the bad parts of New York.

I guess they could be worse? Although everything could be much better...

[Yeah he's not good at this, sorry.]
robitussin: (or if they just fake it)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-23 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)
That's really descriptive. Thanks for that.

[she says, knowing she wouldn't describe where she lives any more accurately]
dontfeedplants: (By and by)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-24 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry, I just can't think of anything good to say about where I live.

I guess there's a lot of homeless people?

[...Okay bad timing, he's just trying to find of some descriptors about Skid Row.]
robitussin: (feel like i feel too)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-24 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
...Do you think that's a good thing?
dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-24 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry, that was bad timing, I was trying to think of something to say about that place. There really isn't a lot of good things about it.
robitussin: (yeah something next to normal)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-24 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
You just haven't found a way out yet, then?
dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-24 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
No, some days I wonder if there even is a way out.

... I mean, ways besides being kidnapped.
robitussin: (you've heard those lies before)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-25 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
...Huh. That's honestly more cynical than I expected from you. You kind of seem like the really awkward but innocent and optimistic type. Am I wrong there?

[is that a compliment or not. we just don't know.]
dontfeedplants: (My future's starting)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-25 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I guess I wouldn't consider myself as either? I try to be optimistic but it's hard to look on the bright side of things sometimes.
robitussin: (when we open up our light)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-25 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Ohhhh.

[Something seems to dawn on her.]

You're like a nerdy Eeyore. I get it now.
dontfeedplants: (By and by)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-25 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks? But I don't think I'm that bad.
robitussin: (when we open up our light)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-25 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
That wasn't... 100% an insult. It was maybe like 47%.
dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-26 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
What's the other 53%?
robitussin: (or if they just fake it)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-26 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Not an insult.
dontfeedplants: (Stick with that plant)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-26 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
... Okay, then how is being called an Eeyore not an insult?
robitussin: (but then give it a year)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-26 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
That was the 47%.
dontfeedplants: (My future's starting)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-26 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
But I...

[Oh nevermind.]

I mean, if you lived downtown you would understand. I don't think I know of anyone who was able to move out of here.
robitussin: (running nude down the street)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-26 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
How many people did you know of, though? Not to be a dick or anything, but you don't seem like the most outgoing guy.
dontfeedplants: (By and by)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-26 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Not a lot, but I've never seen any "for sale" signs come up unless someone died.

... I guess some homeless people could have moved out, if that counts.
robitussin: (if they love each other)

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-10-26 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe they got put up in places you don't visit often.
