WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

Enjoy your week, everyone.]

[Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday]

[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]
dechagny: (aint no viscount got time for that)

All I know is that there are wires connecting it to some sort of plug in the wall. I have to assume that there is a power source of some kind in the wall, since it stops working when the plug is taken out.

[He just. Popped the plug out for like half a minute to test it out, so, nothing's gone bad.]
breakingbread: (bread dad cannot believe)

Yes, most of the machines in there do have the wires...

[He paces over towards the nearest camera, peering up at it.] I don't see any here. But if we could reach it, it looks as though it would be easy to simply snap the arm off, there.

[He points up towards the arm connecting the camera to the wall.]
dechagny: (is not a total douchebag)

[Raoul comes over to look. Yeah, that...doesn't look too too strong.]

Perhaps if we were to find some sort of ladder, or piled the couches in such a way that was sturdy, we could reach it?
breakingbread: (bread dad wonders about you)

[personal profile] breakingbread 2016-10-20 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Any ladder in this building would likely be near the stage. [Which we apparently aren't allowed to see, so.] But the couches may work, or at least get a man high enough to knock it down with something.
dechagny: (just got introduced through song)

[personal profile] dechagny 2016-10-20 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
That is a good plan - there should be brooms in the storage closet and the like. Anything with a long handle could work!
breakingbread: (bread dad is disappoint)

[personal profile] breakingbread 2016-10-21 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
They will likely try to prevent us from taking all of them down. We should pick a few to prioritize - clear a room, perhaps, so that it would be safe for us later.
dechagny: (here to help)

Which room do you think would be best? The dining room might not be amiss, we could hold meetings privately there.

That would be the best meeting room. It's long enough that we could stay away from the kitchen and hallway doors - I don't know how well the cameras can hear.
