WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

[Yeah that...is still a really weird fact for Raoul to swallow. He sets down his impromptu rapier, dusting his hands idly.]

At the very least, someone must have noticed we are missing. That does provide some comfort. And surely there must have been something left behind - the sign of a struggle, a note, perhaps even a declaration of our kidnapping. And then there are those strange boxes that a supposed "audience" can see us through. Perhaps someone among them is sympathetic to us, and is working now to find us. It is all far-flung hope, but...

[Friday brings Heather to a breaking point in her teen angst bullshit. Sick of being lonely and in mild despair since her discovery of the reality of their situation, she gets up Friday morning and marches straight to the Costume Shop, makeup kit in hand. Here she sets up shop, behind a makeshift sign that proclaims 'Free Makeovers!' in looping print, a heart the dot on the exclamation point.

Later in the afternoon, she can be found in the kitchen. Okay, so maybe not everyone loves makeovers. But cookies! Everyone loves cookies! She can be found diligently working away at cookie batter, or maybe after the cookies are done. Careful. They're rock hard.]

From your...description alone, I had assumed, but it really is the case. Shy, worried about others' approval, one who must work up a lot of energy to simply greet another. So this place must, for you, be a kind of hell, is that it?

[While saying this, she doesn't sound harsh or cruel. On the contrary, D-ne sounds particularly kind. Not quite empathetic, but it could sound that way.]

Dining Hall

[It had been a day or two since Raoul promised he would tell D-ne what he had learned from the showrunner. He had been mulling it over, honestly, and also thinking about ways to bust open sealed doors with pianos too, because the answers he found were not ones he could bring himself to believe, and if he can't believe them, how would anyone else?

So when there's not too much traffic in the Dining Hall, Raoul approaches D-ne, rapping softly on the table to catch her attention.]

Some jackets even have padded shoulders-- it projects a more 'dignified' look.
