WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

[D-ne gently flips over her clipboard and then turns her full attention to Hime; something about this girl...]

Not that I've seen...b- but then, I'm not exactly a social one, you know? While it's likely we still have no luck, perhaps there is some trail, even if it's small. Maybe.

[Listen, Darla is small and survives mostly on sugar but Max isn't here and she wants food.

She doesn't know how to cook but she knows how to make sandwiches and easy stuff. She also knows how to whine. Piece o' cake.]

[Darla's already sick of waiting for Max. It's been almost a week and this whole being kidnapped thing is dandy, but she's getting bored.

In the morning, she spends a distinct amount of time in the bathroom by her bedroom trying to fix her pin curls. You can only sleep on them for so long before they start to fall... So far, it's not really working out.

Later on in the day, she's digging through the dressing room to find more clothes for herself and really just creating a pile of pink fabric with some purple thrown in for flavor.]

Mm, once or twice. Its all right.

[And she abruptly leaves. Ru--oh wait, storage closet. Bucket! Here we go, she's coming back.

And she...holds it out for Heather.]

Maybe. I don't have everyone's year, though.

[Oh. Oh no. It's the little girl. Raoul turns around, looks at her as he's processing her request, and...looks back into the cabinets again.]

I...yes? I am...willing to give it a try.

[Darla do you REALLY want to eat something from someone who sounds so unsure about cooking]

[Bless you D-ne, you are truly a proper young lady.]

That is exactly what I was thinking, but depending on the length of our stay, I will need more than what I wear and one other outfit. After all, we can't know when to expect our clothes to be laundered.

[Uh...hey D-ne...maybe tell him how he has to clean his own clothes?]

[Raoul pauses. Looks at what he's using.]

...I suppose it is?

[Does he look like the kind of guy who cleans toilets?]

I thought perhaps it was some abrasive cobweb cleaner.

We should have been let go the day we arrived, in my opinion.

[All the more reason to stay lean and spry. He hasn't forgotten what Javert asked of him in regards to being careful.]

[Hime has had quite enough. On the wall beside the entrance to the women's washroom, you'll find a piece of paper taped up with storage room duct tape:]

It's hard to shower and keep an eye on your stuff at the same time in here! It could get stolen if you leave it outside the stall, but nobody wants to run to their rooms in towels with everyone else in the hall.

[She hasn't signed it, but you might have seen her grumbling in soaking wet clothes this morning.

Today, she's going to try out the music room and... attempt every instrument in there. She puts them all down as soon as the first terrible note comes out, though, and quickly ends up with a pile in front of her.]

Why don't these come with any instructions!?
