week 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.
When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.
But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?
Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

From the morning to the early afternoon, she sits in the library, reading next to the fireplace. She left the room in a rush after the execution last night and didn't show up to the makeshift party last night, but she's taking care to seem much more calm than she had the last time anyone saw her. When someone walks in, they'll find her scanning the bookshelf before pausing and pulling out a copy of And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.]
Wow. Classy.
[Later on, she can be found in the garden for a while, looking curiously at some of the plants... But you're more likely to find her right outside of the room, a bit wet, as she happened to be inside right as the sprinklers started to go off.]
Of course. That figures.

As he enters the library, he's surprised there's actual books. Who would take the time to torture them and furnish them with books at the same time?
Nonetheless he sees the girl he hasn't spoken to much, approaching much like a cautious stranger, keeping his head cowed and hand raised as he approaches the book. He knows how scary his head looks, yes.]

Do you want to look at it?

Not sure you want to read it, though. It's kind of a messed up story.

[Hime squeals and flits around until she notices Natalie.]
Oh! Um... What are you looking at?

[She slides the book back into the shelf, shrugging.]

Library
[Astarte is looking through the library, herself. So many books...Even though the place she lived had a library, Mother tended to not have many books in it. Just the ones that Astarte should read! But here, she sees books she's never seen before.]
What are you going to read, first?

[she slides the book into the shelf.]
What about you?

[She picks out a random book. Outlander?...
She puts it back and goes to look for another.]
Too many...I don't even know where to start.
