WEEK 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.

When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.

But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?

Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

Oh! Uh, she's a friend from another town. She and her friends were doing a set for the festival we were going to in Harmonia, too.

Why does everybody say that? They say it about the Blue Sky Kingdom, too. I think I know where I'm from.

I didn't say it was made up, just that it sounded like it. Chill.

[pouts] Okay. I guess it is a little weird. Most people on Earth didn't even get to go to other worlds until trade opened up with the Card Kingdom, anyway.

...I have so many questions.

I... might be able to answer some of them? Maybe?

Why is there a place called the Card Kingdom.

[rockthistown]

Cards are kind of their motif. Like, playing cards? Even their Precure are themed after the suits.

[robitussin]

You answered part of one question but raised, like, three others.

[rockthistown]

Precure are legendary warriors! Lots of places have stories about them. There are tons of them out there. My friend Megumi could probably name every single one just off TV.

[robitussin]

Legendary warriors. So... Like gladiators or something?

[rockthistown]

No, like magical girls! They go "pow" and "bang" and "Princess Ball!"

[Hime accompanies all of this with acting out punching the air.]

[robitussin]

Princess Ball.

[she doesn't know how to deal with this]

[rockthistown]

I don't know, what kinds of attacks would you make up if you were a magical girl?

[robitussin]

I don't even know what exactly that term means. Are you, like, a witch?

[rockthistown]

Witches are different! Precure transform and get super strength, super jumping, we can fly, and make up our own--

[Congratulations, Natalie. Hime's just now realized that you caught her cheating on her taxes.]

[robitussin]

Make up your own...?

[Hime...]

Um... attacks and things and I'm totally, definitely not a Precure, don't mind me.

[robitussin]

...You're not the best liar. Hate to say it.

I'm gonna get in so much trouble...

With who?

My friends! My parents! God!

[robitussin]

Yes, clearly. God is going to be so mad at you, forever.
