Week Five

[Last week, you had your very first minor body pileup! Granted, the Balladeer's death was entirely unrelated to anything, but at least he died as he lived - getting completely fucked up in some kind of carnival-themed hellscape. Only two days later, another terrible accident took Rina and Varian both from you. It's just been one of those weeks, huh? At least you got to add both of their corpses to your weird growing collection!

Again, you'll wake up this morning with another new snippet of memory. You'll also find that the stairs in the lobby are no longer blocked. You can only access one part of the second floor, but it seems like there's some neat stuff up there!

Outside, a few things seem to have changed. For one, the weather has turned - it'll be overcast this week, with periodic rain and even scattered thunderstorms. For another, the bushes around that rock out by the football field have bloomed. That's nice.

Well... okay, she did drink a little during the roof date with Maya and Peregrine, at some point during the night. And you know what? If she has ever deserved some fucking weed? It's right now.

Oh, that's even more important than I thought they were. I just thought their digging was - it's good for the soil somehow, I think? But being able to tell when the weather is going to take a turn is even better. Although I guess where Eurydice and I are from it'd be really stressful to be a groundhog, because the weather is only ever bad or... more bad.

He can only tell once a year... he comes out of the ground and can tell if winter is going to keep going or not.

... and then I got here and Maya started flirting with me and I flirted with her because I panicked and then I had a moment with Peregrine and just... stuff, you know?

[ She shrugs. ]

I still feel kinda like I just lucked into it. Y'know, like... a butterfly beat its wings and now I have two girlfriends.

[ Peregrine tries to turn to see where Janis came from, but the other girl's grip is too strong. ]

Oh, don't... [ She blushes lightly but reaches up both arms to hold on to Janis's. ] Heheh. I'm cute.

[Salieri looks incredibly amused by this getting pointed out to him, but he's also in an excellent mood]

It was announced at the meeting, yes. [he'll toast her with his wine] Congratulations.

She's so good... I love my girlfriends so much, Salieri, they're so cool... I didn't think I'd even have one girlfriend until, like, college.

In middle school Regina George ruined my life, so like... the number of people at my school who actually like me is very small.
