Week Three
[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.
This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.
Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
(( Be sure to submit your memory regains and your AC for this week! Hester's office hours and the merch booth also remain available! ))

Most of Maya's goods today are innocuous. The terrarium is nice -- it's a home for her cup lizard, at least. But after a moment, the machine stops injecting items, letting out a fearsome rattle as it attempts to spit something else out. Maya has the good sense to duck out of the way, fully anticipating the rain of trombones.
Instead, a rapier spits itself out, clattering across the ground. Maya recognizes it instantly, practically leaping onto it. She holds it high in the air, then twists it easily in her wrist, before slashing it through the air.]
This is... Odette of the Mavericks.
[In her excitement, she forgets about one last coin. It isn't until later that evening that she thinks to return to the vending machine. She slips the last coin in and --
once again finds herself surprised by the rattle. Once more she slips to the side, though instead of finding a sword at her feet, well.
She notices the blood first, bright red as it is. A few droplets flicker across the ground, cast off by the falling knife. Maya's eyes go wide, and a hand goes to her mouth. She glances around the area, before bending down to pick it up.
With a sick, twisting feeling in her stomach, Maya slips off her jacket and bundles the knife in it. She's quick to run to the dorms, pounding on each door.]
Is everyone in there? Are they okay?
Dorms
He's on the floor as soon as he hears Maya pounding on it though, mostly because, well...Maya's always showed healthy concern for all of them, but she's never done this. He's opening the door as soon as he's able, immediately looking down the hall when he does.]
Maya? What's wrong, did something happen?
no subject
Speaking of --]
I found this. I had to make sure everyone was alright.
[She opens the haphazardly bundled jacket. The blood of the knife has smeared against the fabric, but it's still there and still very wet.]
no subject
Wasn't expecting that.]
Maya...where did you find that?
no subject
It came from the vending machine. I wouldn't have thought anything of it but...
[You know. Fresh blood.]
no subject
YEAH...]
D..do you think someone put it there? You know...like, hiding it?

rapier
More importantly, is that real?
no subject
It's real. It's my blade from my Revues.
no subject
My, they don't fool around in there. Seems a little intense.
I think there's a saying about children and sharp objects, isn't there?

[She twists her wrist in a circle, the rapier following suit.]

DORMS
He's broken out of his focus by the noise of running, the pounding on doors, the urgent tone to Maya's voice. That pushes Salieri to his feet, quickly moving towards the door as anxiety suddenly becomes a twisting, writhing thing in his stomach.
As soon as he's outside the door frame he'll look around for her, trying to see what's wrong]
Maya?! [as soon as he spots her, he'll start moving towards her] What is it--are you alright?
no subject
[She's relieved two-fold, honestly. One, it's good to know that her companion is safe. Secondly, it's just nice to have an adult around. Even if she's used to handling responsibility, it's nice to not be the only level-headed one.]
I found a knife in the vending machine. It's.
[She opens up the jacket bundle, showing off the knife.]
no subject
Good lord. Is that blood fresh?
no subject
[Well. It sure is staining the fuck out of her jacket!]
no subject
Part of me believes we should find who it belongs to, another worries of the effect it could have. [yeah he sure does remember Farrah's reaction when his knife tumbled out. And that didn't even have any blood on it]

Oh My God, Maya, what’s up?
no subject
[Maya stops short. Her eyes go wide for just a moment, though there'sm more relief than surprise there.]
It's -- I found something dangerous. I wantd to make sure everyone was safe.
[Farrah doesn't like knives so... She won't go brandishing this one.]
no subject
Like, how dangerous?
no subject
A knife.
no subject
Ugh! They’re everywhere lately! [Shes trying to be brave by playing it off as annoyance.]

Ambassador
Maya? What's wrong?
no subject
A knife. I found a knife. WIth blood.
no subject
What? Who - where?
no subject
[Or if it was just... chilling. You know. As you do.]
