Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

Yeah! I used to go take driving class before coming here. [He actually looks a little sheepish.] You know what they wrote about me in the Yearbook, right? Getting my license has been slow going.

Scene Shop

[ janis is in here because... well, there's no art room. this has paints, and she's still sort of working on the same horrible sculpture she started last week.

But like. That sure is a box. Janis just sort of watches it for a while, but eventually she sort of heads over and pokes it. ]

Oh shit, uh- ...hi?

Oh! You have to get a license to drive these things...?

[That's news to him. People don't really have licenses for anything back home...]

Well, it can't be that hard. I mean, it looks pretty sure...I bet it wouldn't go too terribly fast once it's moving since it looks so heavy.

[HAHA...]

[Ruddiger lifts his head at the sound of the knocking, ready to grab the first thing he finds and bolt since he thinks he's in trouble and has been caught...but then he notices Spongebob standing there.

Expectantly. ....squints.

He carefully slides out of the trashcan and onto the floor, sniffing at the air until he spots the tiny krabby patty on the plate on the floor, looking back at Spongebob hesitantly.

Is....that for him?]

[Varian laughs at that idea, in spite of himself.]

You know, I've never actually been camping before. My dad and I do a lot of stuff outdoors, but I always preferred to be working on my inventions and stuff inside, you know?

[alchemistake]

[It's wild to think about how technology that can seem so new to Varian is something that's old to Peregrine. He just can't quite wrap his head around it.]

I bet you I could make loads of stuff. If I wasn't limited by my access to materials? I'd probably be like, the most famous inventor in the whole WORLD.

[He says, modestly.]

Farrah is now Ruddiger's new best friend, that's for damn sure. He doesn't care if it's dripping- he reches out and takes the pancake piece in his hands before shoving the entire thing into his mouth. It's gone within seconds, leaving him to lick syrup off his now very-sticky raccoon hands.

It may not be good for him, but it IS very cute to watch.]

[There's a long pause.]

Halloween?

Yeah. Every couple seconds or so it's something different. I thought you were doing that?

[Please ask about Rapunzel, Farrah, he's told the story a few times now and it never gets old seeing how excited people are even if he had no idea she was like...a fairytale in other worlds, apparently.]

Parties, huh? You know I don't think I've actually ever been to a party...and the ones we've been having here don't count.

So are you trying to cheat at the video games in here? That Carmen Sandiago game is impossible so I can't blame you!

[Granted he doesn't know the first thing about land geography.]

Carmen Sandiego is a simple game of geography and clues, and I am a cheat code. However, I am not playing any games.

Scene Shop

[So like...Varian is in the scene shop a lot, that's not a question. So he's familiar with the boxes and things around in the place, sometimes uses them to transport tools and materials when he's working. It's fair for him to assume this is just another box that got left out in the middle of the floor, so...

He's going to try to pick it up and move it aside before somebody trips on it.]

[Connor winces slightly, because that was... a hard high five? But he's still grinning about it.]

Guess I really have to put in the hours with Maya. We practice spar sometimes.

[He hops over to the car Varian's working on.]

Oh they do! You see that little gauge on the dashboard that goes from 0 to 160? [He points at it.] That's the Speedometer! It tells you how many miles per hour you're going! And the smaller numbers next to it is the kilometers per hour!

Oh camping is a blast! I love singing around the campfire and telling spooky stories and s'mo-

[Something hits him as he gasps in shock.]

Wait a minute have you never had s'mores before?

[Spongebob nods and backs away a little. Enjoy, Ruddiger!]

Aww [He looks disappointed but sits down next to him.] So what are you doing, then?

Well, it was her job to try and reform me so I could use my magic to "serve good instead of evil". A rather bold move on Celestia's part, to be honest, considering I could have very easily just manipulated the situation and secured my freedom and get everything I wanted out of it.

...Which I did attempt, of course.

[Of course.]

But I actually did... enjoy spending time with her, despite all that.

[ She eyes him from over her paper. ]

You mean you have friends now?

[ She assumes he means like. Back home. And definitely didn't mean to be rude or anything sdkjghjk ]

Yeah, I mean...there's Cass and the others, but I've met a lot of people here that I consider my friends, now.
