[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?

Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.

If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]

There's a moment where Salieri stiffens, remembering having to help Mademoiselle Maya climb out of that mountain of instruments, with the remnants of that deer skin on her person, and he almost snaps at him-]

Sounds about like the average cat name to me. Pretty shabby looking, though.

Maybe we can sign the poor thing up for one of those makeover programs that are all the rage.

Oh? I'm afraid I'm not well-versed in the area of cat names, personally, so I will have to take your word for it.

[he does arch an eyebrow at that second bit] Makeover programs? I haven't heard of such a thing.

Right, not a thing in your dimension, I guess. At least, not yet. Give it a few centuries and I'm sure reality TV will rear its ugly head.

You know how messy politics and noble drama can be, right?

Right. So. Take that. Amplify it by about ten times, add in a lot of needlessly dramatic zoom-ins and over the top music stings, and ta-dah. An absolute disaster about nothing at all, there for anyone to see whenever they feel like.

So, how is your very first interdimensional trip treating you.

It has certainly been an experience. [he frowns, slightly] You make it sound as though this one is not your first.

Oh, I have lots of experience. When you can warp reality however you want, tearing a hole in dimensions is nothing.

...I see. So you've visited your particular brand of chaos on more than one dimension, then?

[disharmonizes]

A few in my time. I have been around for a long time, so I couldn't just stick to one place, even if I do have a preference for my own.

Though, other dimensions tend to have their own chaos beings around and it's best to avoid those, usually.

[well that is, quite frankly, mind boggling. Salieri is just...going to take a sip from his cup. You almost become used to the taste after a while, and boy he wishes this one was alcoholic.]

You don't get along with other chaos beings?

Things tend to get a little... intense. We're all pretty territorial and not much for playing nice.

We're not the getting along types.
