week 1
[Well, all escape attempts have failed thus far. None of you have seen the Phantom since his brief appearance on Sunday, or heard from him at all. It looks like, for the time being, you’re all going to be stuck here.
You're free to continue exploring your surroundings to your hearts' content. The only real restriction on your movements is that the kitchen is closed between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. Better make sure to grab any midnight snacks you may want ahead of time. Also, remember to label any investigation toplevels!
The Merchandise Booth is now open for business as well! The Phantom hasn't deigned to explain how it works, but...well, some of you will start to find mysterious coins in your rooms, and the Booth's got a place to put coins. You'll figure it out.
Should you wish to engage more with your host, you're welcome to drop letters in the box office slot. There's no set way to converse verbally with him, and he's certainly not guaranteed to respond if you just yell at the walls - but that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't listening. Just something to keep in mind.
Enjoy your first week, everyone.]
Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday
(( OOC: This will be the last mod post for this week! Feel free to start submitting regains for any threads that aren't with the Phantom. Remember, song threads mean an extra coin! This is a peace week, so get all that CR while you can! ))

[Sigyn lightly presses her shoulder to Riley's]
Do you want to talk?

[ Riley feels so much like that crying little girl in the rain. Can't get up and run away, can't do anything about the hurt she feels. Just stuck there. Her gaze remains on the trophy, but at least she's stopped polishing it. ]
...It's nothing to do with here. Besides, like- the fact that it showed up, so. Gotta stay focused on what...matters right now, right?
[ But, trying to sound like all this doesn't matter... It's not right to her. She sure doesn't sound like she believes what she's saying. ]
no subject
I know we just met, but I'm here for you, Riley.
no subject
GCHS CHEERLEADING, YOU TRIED
Which is probably a little insulting. ]
It's... It's not really a trophy. It's a disaster. [ She doesn't want to explain it all. ] When you put your whole life into everything and just fail completely, it stings a little.

[Sigyn leans over so they aren't touching anymore. She frowns at the inscription on the trophy.]
no subject
Okay, yeah, it stings a lot. I was trying to look at this as a...concrete way to measure my improvements, my team's improvements, but... But the very night I tried to pull everyone together again, to encourage us, and get us on the same page, I close my eyes and the next thing I know, I'm...
[ Her shoulders slump. ]
Here.

This...this is horrible. You had a life and dreams, and I swear I will do everything in my power to get you back to your life.

[ One finger presses into the trophy's top, a girl's leg reached up far in the air. ]
Thank you. [ It's soft, more a murmur than anything. ] I don't... Everyone has dreams, things they have to do. I don't want to sound like I think I'm the only one, I know, it was just- ...It was a sensitive time.
[ All of this is a mumble, actually. Quite the contrast to Riley's usually enunciated speech. It sounds strange. Like she's not used to talking about all this. ]

[Sigyn stands and holds a hand down to help Riley to her feet]
Want some help carrying this stuff to your room?
no subject
Um. As long as the tuba doesn't go with it. [ Maybe that's a bit of a joke. An attempt at one. Sort of. Rather tentatively, she reaches up and takes that hand. ] I'd...really appreciate it, I think.
[ But, she keeps her own grasp on the trophy. ]
no subject
I'll haul it over to the music room later.

[ She's already said that, and it's clear she's a little unfamiliar with the whole...everything of this moment. But, it feels important to say again.
And, well, she doesn't want to leave everything to Sigyn, that would be irresponsible, so she gathers some things up as well, including-- ]
Oh! [ She picks up the, uh. The rather flashy boots, clears her throat. ] I'm, um. Going to also run these to the costume closet? I don't...think I'm going to wear them.
no subject
[She actually sounds completely sincere. Space fashion.]

I'll grab both on the way back.
