week 1
[Well, all escape attempts have failed thus far. None of you have seen the Phantom since his brief appearance on Sunday, or heard from him at all. It looks like, for the time being, you’re all going to be stuck here.
You're free to continue exploring your surroundings to your hearts' content. The only real restriction on your movements is that the kitchen is closed between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. Better make sure to grab any midnight snacks you may want ahead of time. Also, remember to label any investigation toplevels!
The Merchandise Booth is now open for business as well! The Phantom hasn't deigned to explain how it works, but...well, some of you will start to find mysterious coins in your rooms, and the Booth's got a place to put coins. You'll figure it out.
Should you wish to engage more with your host, you're welcome to drop letters in the box office slot. There's no set way to converse verbally with him, and he's certainly not guaranteed to respond if you just yell at the walls - but that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't listening. Just something to keep in mind.
Enjoy your first week, everyone.]
Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday
(( OOC: This will be the last mod post for this week! Feel free to start submitting regains for any threads that aren't with the Phantom. Remember, song threads mean an extra coin! This is a peace week, so get all that CR while you can! ))

Whether or not there is, in fact, acid? That's hard to tell. And after that whole fiasco...Stephen is...taking a bit of a break. And by that we mean once again taking an inventory of the Storage Closet - that is, a more thorough inventory. Just trying to get a better idea of what tools they have at their disposal, and maybe keeping a roll of duct tape for himself. You can find him here most of the day, using a pad of paper to note what he's found and...cleaning it up just a little bit. Just enough that it's easier for him to figure out how much of something there is.
Aside from that, he makes a brief stop in the costume shop, trying to find some clothes to wear that aren't...well. Costumes. He finds a couple things that more or less fits his standards of 'normal' (though perhaps a bit dated), quietly claims them as his own, then heads for the laundry room to wash the things he had been wearing. He'll glance up if he hears anyone enter, maybe offer a short chin-raise of greeting, but otherwise keep to himself here.]

Oh! Hello, there. Running through our supplies?
no subject
Mhm. I'm surprised we were given all this, to be honest; maybe the Phantom's just too lazy to clean this place out.

[ Well, isn't that something? Riley spends most of the day alternating between the costume shop and the storage closet. Taking inventory? Possibly. She's setting aside just...a ridiculous number of clothes, anything she could possibly find that could be considered modern and not a costume. (Which is. A mixed bag.) Riley keeps almost deciding on taking a piece of clothing before shaking her head and putting it back in her pile. This continues for awhile.
The closet, though, she's definitely taking inventory there. She's found herself a clipboard and is using it to mark things off as she talks to herself. ]
Mmhm, expected. Understandable... This place is stocked, isn't it?

Afterward, there is a flush, and then a gasp.
And then another flush.]
What kind of sorcery is this?! What else will it suck?
[After flushing down an entire bog roll, he goes out into the hallway and starts finding other things to send down the shitter. He seems positively.
Flush.
with excitement. :)
An array of small or soft items in his arms, he exclaims:]
You have got to check this out! Come with me!

[There the king runs. Angus can't leave him be - what if it's a plan of escape? The prince dashes after him into the men's room.]
no subject
...A very. Specific. Kind of magic. Look here! In the garderobe!
[He barges into the stall and gestures at the toilet.]
Now watch! [He holds up the harmonica he'd grabbed just before running into Angus, and throws it into the porcelain bowl, then pushes the flush lever. The metal harmonica clangs around a little bit, making an obnoxious sound before it disappears down the hole.]
Brilliant, isn't it!

[Tuesday afternoon sees Steven banging on the metal screen of the merchandise booth. A small pile of items is stacked neatly at his feet- or formerly stacked, it seems. Looks like it's been knocked over in his attempts to get inside.]
[In his hand is a beautifully worked pink sword hilt.]
Open up! How did- what- WHAT DID YOU DO TO CONNIE?!

...well, I can't very well think of leaving on an empty stomach. Perhaps I'll just pay a little visit to the kitchens first.
["Little" indeed. While she's there, it's easy to watch her dig through every nook and cranny of the kitchen. Whether she's just curious or she's looking for something... she certainly is making a mess of things. However--]
Oh! Here... just as I'd hoped. Recipes.
[She has a date with some bread. If she can actually make it.
Once she's filled her stomach though... well, she's not any closer to freedom. As exciting as another adventure sounds, she's also starting to feel a bit worried. Was her family alright? Would she make it back? Although they were just small thoughts nagging at the back of her mind, they were there all the same.
So she takes the coins she found to the Merchandise Booth where she receives a red poppy and a great collection of bobby pins.]
What a beautiful flower... and these pins-- it wouldn't hurt to keep them. Maybe when I go home, mother will do something new with my hair.
[She gets quiet, staring at them longingly and sings in a very small voice--]
♫ I wish... more than anything... more than life...
I wish to go back to my village.
Back to the woods, back to my grandmother
Back to my village, back to my house... ♫

Good morning to you. What is it that you have there?
