week 1
[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.
The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.
If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.
Enjoy your week, everyone.]
[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]

[Instructions mean they cant possibly screw this up.]

...uuuuuuuuh let's just put it on the highest setting here. Now he needs...]
Milk and butter...at precise measurements...[He looks to Darla, a little lost.] Do you suppose any cup will do for "one-forth of a cup of milk"?
no subject
...
Maybe.]
"Uhm. No. You have to find the cup... with lines on it?"
[Yeah. That makes sense.]
no subject
Would this work?
no subject
[She kinda...mimes a cup shape with her hands.]
"It isn't for drinking, it's... you just pour things out of it."
no subject
[Well back to searching. He rifles through before he finds this weird thing.]
Oh - this tiny pitcher! It has the measurements on it. Surely this will work?
no subject
"That's the one!"
no subject
Ah, good! Alright, then...
[He's just going to carefully...caaaarefully measure out the right amount of milk...]
no subject
Speaking of, she's just gonna... drag a chair over so she can watch.]
You gotta make the macaroni first.
no subject
Huh! Now that is not a macaroni...
no subject
It looks like macaroni to me...
[???????]

[She points to the pot and the packet in his hand.]
Macaroni. And cheese.
no subject
[He opens up the packet curiously, peering inside.]
...It's a powder. An...obnoxiously bright orange powder.
no subject
Cheese.

[Okay, he. He's going to have to take your word for it and see how it works because right now he is just all sorts of confused.]
I...suppose there's nothing to be done about it now, if it is already indeed a powder.
